They shot him.
Then they shot him again.
And somehow, Jack “Legs” Diamond kept getting back up.
One of Prohibition-era New York’s most colorful—and most frequently ventilated—gangsters, Diamond was a thief, hijacker, bootlegger, racketeer, nightclub owner and professional pain in the ass to several extremely dangerous men.
He steals liquor from other bootleggers. He runs with Arnold Rothstein. He gets caught in the wars surrounding Little Augie Orgen and Lepke Buchalter. He survives ambushes that should have finished him, turns hospital stays into publicity campaigns, travels to Europe under an alias, and develops a remarkable habit of being acquitted just when prosecutors think they finally have him.
The newspapers eventually give him the perfect nickname:
The Clay Pigeon of the Underworld.
Everybody takes a shot.
Nobody seems able to break him.
Until Albany.
In this episode of Partners-N-Crime, Bill, Zach, Annmarie and Joshua separate the documented history from the gangster folklore and follow Jack Diamond from the streets of New York to the dark Albany room where his luck finally runs out.
Who killed Legs Diamond?
Dutch Schultz?
Old enemies from New York?
Men who believed Diamond owed them a fortune?
Or did Jack finally wander into a city where the politicians, police and underworld were all working for the same management?
Pour something illegal and join us.
This is the legend of Jack “Legs” Diamond.

Life is simple—until the corpse winks.

Anthony Bucci, convict/wiseguy, inmate number 21416-038, was a captive of the federal bureau of prisons while serving a 21 year bit. At the onset of his sentence Anthony was bitter and trouble was no stranger to him. He spent a lot of time in solitary confinement. It was in solitary confinement, in his darkest hour, that Anthony had a spiritual awakening and started writing his masterpiece Infinity Crew. Infinity Crew means the world to Anthony. It should, it saved his life. Upon his release from solitary Anthony completely changed from the street thug he had once been. Compassion became his motivation and strength. Anthony enrolled in and completed over fifty educational courses, volunteered and took care of sick and terminally ill inmates, trained service dogs for the handicapped, and was the first inmate in the country to be granted a parental compassionate release to care for his handicapped mother. Since his release in October 2019 Anthony is living a compassionate, animal cruelty free, sustainable lifestyle in Boston, Massachusetts. He cares for his mother and is rebuilding relationships with his children and loved ones. Anthony has launched The Convicted Vegan Wear apparel line. He is led by his dreams and is on a mission to show the world that anything is in the realm of possibility if you work hard and live your life by the law of good karma. Anthony was at rock bottom and has faced his demons. He makes it a point to be available to talk to anyone down and out. Anthony lives by the belief without you there is no me. Anthony is staying convicted to being someone nobody thought he could ever be. He is living the story he has always wanted to tell, and would be honored if you would be his audience for years to come.

From www.CollierLandry.com:
I was just 11 years old when I witnessed my father murder my mother in the early morning hours of New Year's Eve. When no one believed me except one detective, I gathered evidence against my father, leading police to discover her body buried in another state. In 2020, more than 17,000 people were victims of murder in the United States. That means thousands of American’s are suffering from grief, trauma, and survivor's guilt.
After having my story featured on Forensic Files, I channeled my trauma into filmmaking and podcasting, gaining widespread recognition as the creator and subject of A Murder in Mansfield, a film directed by two-time Oscar winner Barbara Kopple.
