6  GOOD STEWARDS: SWIMMING WITH SHARKS

Government is not the solution to our problem.  Government IS the problem.

    - Ronald Reagan, 1981.

Who knew, in 2000, that "compassionate conservatism" meant bigger government, unrestricted government spending, government intrusion in personal matters, government ineptitude, and cronyism in disaster relief?

    -       Christopher Buckley, 2008

On This, the Media Will Always Be Your Enemy

Gold is an element.  If you could melt it down and pour it through a filter, what comes out the other side is gold.  It can’t be reduced down to something else.  Put more correctly, it is irreducible.  So must be our message if we are to win multiple elections.

We have seen time and time again, when discussing taxes and the economy, that the mainstream press, and not a small chunk of the alternative media, will look facts straight on and report something other than the facts.  Whenever a Republican outlines a tax or spending bill, no matter what numbers are used, he will always be accused of favoring the rich.

So please candidates and handlers, don’t distract yourself by trying to please the media, especially on such important issues as these.  You will not be given a truthful minute of coverage.  Instead, recognize that the media is a filter and will try block your message.  Make a case strong enough and simple enough that the media will not be able to change its nature.  Your message will leave the bullshit machine in basically the same state as it entered.

But don’t try to tailor a message that you think the media will like and cover accordingly.  They won’t do that – ever! Certainly not during the campaign.  They eventually will, years after your plans meet with success, as they were forced to do with Reagan’s economic juggernaut.  And you are going to have success, right?  Because you are going to have loooong coattails [1], right?

Reagan’s plan was far too complex and not as strong as the options out there today.  Despite this, we rode the Reagan wave from the early 80s until 2008.  We weathered the damage the economy endured with Bill Clinton, 9/11, two wars and “compassionate conservatism”[2].

What we need desperately in this economy is simplicity and clarity.  The simplicity should be the easier sell for the vast majority of voters.  Some will be skeptical because of a lifetime of being told that government programs must be complex.  Only the governing class likes complexity.  It allows the elites to build little empires around their programs to manage the endless minutiae that federal law excretes by the wagon load.  For examples, look at Dodd-Frank and Obamacare.  Combined, they represent almost 40,000 pages of Orwellian untruth.  The Financial “Reform” act was an intentional maze written to preserve the status quo among friends of Democrats, disguised as a bill to help consumers.  All it did was make life more indecipherable for everyone and create thousands of careers in compliance and enforcement.  Obamacare by itself is just shy of 30,000 pages of regulation.  And as we all know by now Obamacare cannot and will not do anything for anyone except for the chosen few insurance companies that wrote the goddamn bill!

No more of this.  We need ideas that people can get their heads around the first time you explain it to them.  If you want to set the electorate on fire despite the fact that the press will lie about you and what you are planning, try simplicity and clarity.  Make your message as elemental as gold.

    The Budget

It is the clarity that will be the tougher sell.  It is here that you make understanding your plans simple.  But it is also here, that you make clear to the voter that what they think are goodies from Papa Government, are not goodies at all and are going away.

We’ll start with the budget.  The best plan proposed in the last two decades is what is called the Mack Penny Plan.  It goes something like this:

You choose a recent year’s spending level in which no one died due to the fact that the US Government budget was too small, say 2014.  Whatever was the total spending for that year will be the total budget for the coming year.  Next year you cut that by one percent across the board; one penny on the dollar.  No exceptions.  Then you do the same thing again the following year.  This is repeated for 7 years.  Each year, the one percent is, in actuality, a smaller number than the year before because it is one percent of a smaller total amount.  The result, you have balanced the budget.

Liberals and our not-too-bright conservatives are already squirming in their chair with the first objection.

But MJ, that can’t work, it’s too simple! Nothing is that simple!

    The Next Teachable Moment

Here the wise candidate gets a chance to outline his economic program by teaching the public some basic truths they probably already know to be true but have been convinced to think otherwise.

Why are liberals and RINOs so impressed with needless complexity? I can understand the governing class on this point because they believe in gathering power unto themselves and need byzantine barrels of regulation as mentioned above to hide their desires.  But in conversation with people about this very point, a lot of otherwise smart people complain of the simplicity.  Why would the regular Joe complain of simplicity when the optional complexity is a millstone around his neck? See it for what it is – a lifting of a great burden from your life.

Things are only as simple or complex as we insist on making them.  Controlling spending and balancing budgets is not like sending a man to Mars.  People and corporations do it every damn day! Expect the same from those in whom you have entrusted your hard-earned treasure.  If you don’t see the truth in this, put this book down now.  You are too stupid to absorb the rest of it.

The trouble with any bureaucracy is that too many people, instead of doing their jobs, spend all their time building little empires and call that management.  It is invariably a distraction from the primary mission.  They HATE simplicity, especially when it comes to budget cuts.  Broach the subject and the thousands of little empire builders in the federal labyrinth will be saying, Oh no.  That’s fine for some other department, but my little corner of the world is far too valuable to absorb what will be approximately a six percent cut over seven years.  Take more from this and that program, but give me my regular increase.  - OR - Our workers are the finest workers in the entire universe (even the ones who look at porn all day) and we can’t afford to layoff a single one of them.  The federal worker is the very bedrock of Western Civilization.

I’ll take those two examples of self-preservation, at the needless expense of the taxpayer, in order.

To defend little government empires - and we heard this with the sequestration arguments - the little emperors will cry, by golly how can I plan next year’s work if I have to cut everything by 1 percent? We have new programs going online.  They must be paid for.  If you are going to just willy-nilly cut one percent of my budget, we may as well shut down the whole department!

    Don’t tempt us.

This was, at the time of “sequestration”[3] and still is, a riotously specious argument.  The operative word here is planning.  So, in 2016, as an example, Congress acts responsibly and passes the budget for 2017.  The budget provides all departments a pre-sequestration budget of X dollars minus one percent.  Now, planning begins on how to incorporate the cut.  As professional employees, the little emperors should be expected to meet this requirement.  If they can’t absorb a one percent cut, they should be fired and replaced by competent managers.

Also, if they were told they were getting an increase of any kind next year, as the federal government has gotten EVERY year for the last 40 years, they would have no trouble planning for that, and spending every last dime.

As for the layoffs of government employees…

This is where the shit really gets deep.  You would think every government employee was a snowflake with a degree from MIT.  You’d think they all had 3.2 perfect children, had the work ethic of an Amish farmer and sang God Bless America every morning before starting work.

I’m here to tell you, after 23 years in the navy and 14 as a contract employee for the Department of Defense, the previous paragraph is beyond fantasy.  There are some truly great people working for the government.  I’ve had the honor to work with some of the best.  But as an organization, I can tell you, being good stewards of public funds is not at the top of anyone’s priority list.  And there are thousands, many thousands of highly unproductive members of the federal workforce.

I can see the news stories now.  Media hacks will search frantically for a story that will show an excruciating tragedy caused by a 1% cut in funding.  We’ll see the 22 year old that had just settled into his new job at the Department of the Interior, now the only layoff in the whole department, cast out into the cold.  So unfair.

Or, among the proles, we’ll see the face of a crying, single mother with five kids, from three different men, who can’t make rent this month because her landlord demanded the extra $8.00 the government didn’t pay in housing assistance.  Kids will be forced to walk around in New Balance instead of Nike, shattering their delicate self-esteem.  Schools will be forced to serve food the kids will actually eat instead of the arugula Michelle Obama commanded them to eat.  And don’t get me started on the 1000 fewer welfare cell phones that won’t go out this year.

Give me a minute.  I’m tearing up just thinking about it.

That said, with one percent cuts per year, it isn’t necessary to get rid of even this dead weight; at least not early on, and never in great numbers.  If you cut payroll by one percent, EVERYONE’S new spending authorization by one percent and required that any new project be within budget and/or offset by curtailing other projects, the need for layoffs becomes very remote. That is, if we are only relying on the Mack Penny Plan.

But there would be layoffs.  As you get further through the budget reduction plan there would have to be some reorganization.  That’s what the planning is for.  Get rid of the dead weight first.

And speaking of dead weight, there is much more we can do in conjunction with The Mack Penny Plan to reduce spending and take the first steps to shrinking the size and reach of the government.  Remember, I said, “in conjunction with. ” Even the smallest government operation could use the discipline of spending less.  If they have to do less (1% less) that is likely a very good thing.

We’ll talk about taking away the “goodies” and really shrinking government in a chapter that will give the weaker candidates a heart attack.  One can only hope.

    7  SWIMMING WITH SHARKS…WRIT LARGE

Back home we got a taxidermy man.  He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him!

    - Quint, Jaws, 1975

Along with small cuts needed to balance the budget, there is an opportunity with this election to slash the executive branch, make the President’s job easier and less smarmy, and save multiple hundreds of billions of additional taxpayer dollars.  We also want to reign in the federal monster.  In this book, I am suggesting that the next chief executive preside over the greatest surrender of power since George Washington turned his sword over to Congress.[iv]   The executive branch needs to be heavily reduced and responsibility for making law must be put back on the shoulders of Congress; preferably one not presided over by the Four Morons of the American Political Apocalypse[v].  If you are reading this as a Congressional aspirant, you will want to assist this new President in returning power and relevance to the legislature.  Remember, legislators; other than foreign affairs and the veto power, this man’s job is to execute YOUR will! Hold him to account!

Voters, pay attention and insist this happens.  Pound your Congressional delegation, no matter what their party, with phone calls and emails demanding that they put on the man pants and take back the power that is by law, theirs.

Everybody thinks that his rep is a great statesman.  Every two years polls indicate that an overwhelming majority of Americans want to throw all the bums out.  And every year more than 90% get reelected.  Clearly, legislators go home with the same message year after year:  I’m the good guy.  It’s all the other guys who are ass hats.  Don’t buy that.  Check his voting record.  Where does he make the most appearances?

Do you know what a legislator’s most common complaint is?  No letters, no phone calls from constituents.  They often don’t know how their people feel on many issues.  SO LET THEM FRIGGIN KNOW! MAKE THEM EARN THEIR PAY! Don’t worry so much about the rest of Congress; that’s the concern of people in all the other states.  Ask what the hell your delegation has done for you, or at least not to you, recently.  Then challenge his or her sense of adult responsibility…often!

Politicians be warned: If you are not a candidate in control of yourself or the facts, you would be better off quitting the race forthwith than to venture into these waters.  If you are not a Fiorina or Jindal or Walker, you may suddenly find yourself being dismembered by the sharks in the media, the Beltway and by the citizenry that you failed to convince.  Lindsay Graham; I like you.  I always have.  But you don’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of being this guy.  It’s the same with Jeb Bush.  If anyone shows the audacity required to push any proposal in this book, Jeb will be knocked to the middle of the pack.  If Bush tried this right now, the sharks would tear him to pieces.  Not because he couldn’t do all these things, he can.  But so far his campaign is too risk averse and business-as-usual to stand up to the onslaught that a less than ethical media would bring to bear.

But it is audacity that paves the way for massive victory, so I would hope that some of the conservatives take on at least a goodly portion of this chapter.

This Will Give Carl Rove a Stroke.  Any Takers?

Over the last two decades, we have seen spending, the budget and the national debt skyrocket.  Even sequestration continued the growth.  Hundreds of billions were added to our spending, again and again.  When cuts would be touted, and there have been few, they weren’t real cuts, just smaller increases.

Well, it’s time.  The people are prepared – make that starving - to hear that someone is about to take a broad axe to the federal monster.  Here are just a few humble suggestions from your loyal servant.

Whiteboards ready? Summarize this section and start scribbling.

    ELIMINATE THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION!

Of all the departments I will take on, this one is the most useless by far.  The Department of Education (ED)[vi] takes the blue ribbon in wasting taxpayers time and money.  No Child Left Behind! Common Core! INDEED! The ED has never educated, nor has it contributed to the successful education of a single citizen of the Union.  This is the most useless collection of bureaucrats ever assembled.  Like some of their local and state counterparts, the ED exists to keep these people employed.  They do nothing but add to the cost of educating our children by syphoning our tax dollars and making pronouncements that do not contribute to student success.

There is a legitimate explanation, of course.  They know nothing.  No desk warmer in DC knows the first thing about what your child needs to be successful.  They claim to.  Some actually think they are omniscient and can discern the perfect solution for every state, county and municipality in the country.  Most of these delusional creatures are liberal doctrinaires and really, REALLY believe that Big Brother knows everything.  Like their betters in the White House, these people read Animal Farm and 1984 and instead of being repulsed, sat back and thought: This could work! I could be an important person in this world!

The most important thing a candidate needs to know is that starting your cuts here will be like shooting fish in a barrel.  Democrats will be apoplectic.  The press will actually froth at the mouth.  Government spokesmen will run to the nearest podium to tell us that every last employee at ED, and all the other departments we are going to eviscerate in this book, are the most indispensable people in the history of man.[vii]  Weak Republicans will try to crawl under refrigerators to avoid talking about it.  We will hear that dumping the Education Department will sound the death knell for western civilization.

Don’t worry.  Joe Sixpack and Lilly Minivan will hear you are closing down this monstrosity and do a Tiger Woods fist pump.  And you, brave candidate, can rest easy.  There are more Joes and Lillies in this country, black, white, Asian, Latino, gay, left-handed, even on the federal payroll than any other voting cohort.  Go for it!

As for the invaluable qualities the typical federal employee might possess, let them put those qualities to the test by going forth and offering their services to the states and cities.  If it is true that they are the best things since perforated toilet paper, they won’t be unemployed for more than a week.  I am being facetious, of course.  But they shouldn’t worry anyway.  The economy we are going to spawn from this and other federal dismemberments will create so many jobs the average citizen will need to hide under his bed to avoid employment.

Reduce the IRS to a Bookkeeping Operation

There are many reasons to take the teeth out of the IRS.  The most recent to come to light is that the organization has become little more than an attack dog for the governing class.  Lois Lerner and that smirking, smug Koskinen are convinced that the American citizen is so thoroughly cowed that the IRS can do whatever it wishes to whomever they dislike.  They share Obama and Hil-liar-y’s view of a socialist utopia.  They feel utterly at ease abusing you and your money and your personal liberties in order to tamp down political descent.  This is the fault of the gutless wonders inside the Beltway right now, especially the four morons.  Trey Gowdey seems to be doing something, but he is moving terribly slow.  He ought to quit messing with his hair and get on with it.

No matter.  As we saw in the chapter entitled “Other People’s Money” the tax code can be made infinitely simpler than it is today.  A point-of-sale tax will render the IRS obsolete.  The only function of the new IRS will be to monitor the receipts of retail businesses.  Those businesses will have little, if any, motivation to skirt the law for people they don’t know.  They will produce the revenues needed to run what will be left of the government, once it has been leashed and cut down to a manageable size.  For those businesses stupid enough to lie about their monthly sales or companies that don’t do their bookkeeping correctly, an IRS 1/100th its present size will be sufficient to roll those businesses up and close them down.

I can hear the non-thinkers nagging me again:

But MJ, what about all those poor out-of-work IRS agents?

First, lets acknowledge that these virtuous and invaluable public servants allowed, and in many cases, participated in the harassment of citizens who didn’t agree with the sitting emperor.  Few, if any, ever raised an eyebrow.  So my heart isn’t breaking at their dismissal.  But once again, our own austerity will come to the rescue of even the undeserving.

    Bust Medical Scammers…

One of the areas needing to be addressed is the obscene amount of fraud and waste occurring in government and by citizens raping the federal dole for entitlements to which they are not, well,… entitled.  The rate of fraud in Medicare alone is in the tens of billions per year;[viii] $50 billion each year according to the government’s own estimates.  Some say it is closer to $80 billion.

To start addressing this, we transfer an army of those agents the IRS will free up to the Department Of Health and Human Services with the same police powers they have right now.  These agents will carry Department of Justice badges.  They won’t work for the agencies they monitor.  Turn them lose on the fraudulent scum who are directly stealing our money.  But with this caveat: in order to bust individuals, they must also take down any skanky, quack doctors that may have made their fraud doable.  And such scum should do serious jail time!

Continuing on the medical fraud theme: Since the ugly, grey dawn of Obamacare, millions of people have illegally, if not understandably, left the workforce, applied for and gotten disability checks from the Social Security Administration.  After being forced from the workforce and living in an economy with zero real growth for several years they gave up and took the bait being offered by Valerie Jarrett’s lapdog.  Obama is why people like Jarrett keep community organizers around.  The easiest thing to do in this country is breath.  The second easiest is to get on Social Security Disability.  Hell, around the time Obamacare was being rolled out, the White House had people recruiting citizens to sign up.

More of these IRS agents, after years of serving the emperor, often willingly, can be sent to DHHS to warn off and, if necessary, bust those on disability who go to the gym more than my gainfully employed readers have time to.  Agents can also go after those who collect a government check and work under the table.

But I’ll say it again; the economy we are going to grow will pull people off the government dole.  And since we will be heavily means testing this bloated program and drastically cut the rates for those who don’t really deserve it, many of these people will leave their disability behind and get real jobs.  For those who do not, they get one LOUD warning: if you are not sick, get off the dole.  Leave it for those who need it.

… and then Cut Those Departments Accordingly.

There is an endless, sickening litany of people ripping off the government/us, both private citizens and government employees.  You should be able to pull 90% of the IRS and transfer them to other areas to clean up the mess.  Make these agents answerable to people outside the target organization they police, and transfer them often.

Fear alone will curtail billions and billions of dollars worth of waste and fraud.

Once you have reduced the fraud by tens of billions, cut that amount from DHHS.  There is much more to be done to bring this department to heel, but you get the idea.  I gave you a good start.

    Eviscerate the EPA

Did you know the EPA packs heat? Oh, yeah.  Nice stuff, too.  SIG Sauer; stainless steel, no less.  I own five weapons.  I can’t afford a stainless steel SIG.[ix]

    WTF?!?!

The EPA is a policy arm of the government.  What jackass gave them police authority? How can it possibly be justified?

Let’s suppose the EPA decided the drainage ditch in your backyard was a protected navigable waterway.  I’m not half kidding on this one; they do this kind of monkey shit all the time.  Once established, they can cite you for any one of dozens of things you might do to or near this waterway.  Let’s suppose further that you build a 10’ x 12’ storage shed you bought at Lowe’s and plop it near this critical body of H2O.  Should Big Brother find out about this, and find regulation against it, the fun would begin.

You would be cited, of course, and told to get the offending shed away from the life-affirming drainage ditch.  If you refuse, then the fines and arrests come into play.  There was a time when the EPA would have to notify the Justice Department and/or local police to assist in assaulting your property, tearing down your shed and dragging you into court.  Now it seems they have the guns and police powers to do it themselves.  Brilliant.  What a time saver!

Along with police powers, these people now have the power to make laws.  They say they are just expounding on proper law, debated and legislated.  But as we have seen, through new “regulations” supported nowhere in existing law, they are dictating NEW law.  We also know they have the blessing of an authoritarian regime to do it.  “I can’t wait for Congress…” and all that jazz.

One of my favorites is that CO2 is now, by totalitarian fiat, a pollutant; a toxin; fucking poison! Who knew?

I was shocked to hear this.  I immediately wrote my Congressman (He’s the good one.  It’s all the others that are ass hats.) and demanded that a warrant be sworn out on every single American.  I have it on good faith that several times a minute every single one of these damnable Americans is spewing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.  And they do it all day long, even at night when they sleep.  They have absolutely no regard for their planet.  Bastards!

It should be easy to catch them.  The NSA has all their phone and computer records.  They can pull every phone conversation these criminals are having, find out their movements, who they are talking to, and arrest them.

Taking it an important step further, do you have any idea how many tons of CO2 are being expelled by 9 billion people everyday? Oh yeah! The whole world is doing it.  The trees have absorbed so much of the poison they’re turning green!

We can’t arrest the whole world.  So Valerie Jarrett should order Barry to bomb every last one of them into dust.  And he can start with those Lithuanians.  Thick as thieves, those Lithuanians.

The one thing more stupid than the last four paragraphs is the CO2 declaration I am making fun of.

But I’ll tell you something even more stupid and truly frightening.  The person now at the head of an organization with fiat power and guns is a liberal, environmentalist doctrinaire. She is a propagandist and GW/CC alarmist of the first order.  She is totally beneath our trust.[x]  I speak of Gina McCarthy, EPA Administrator.

Reduce the EPA to a monitoring group and give them four initials.[xi]   All the states have their own version of the EPA.  Many simply lift environmental law directly from the federal government and make it their own.  Call the new federal activity something like Environmental Policy Monitoring Group (EPMG), responsible to the states for assisting them in maintaining a safe, clean environment and settling environmental disputes among the states.

But for Christ’s sake, take away their police power, rescind all of their fiat pronouncements of the last 7 years and take away their GUNS! Nobody wants some sunken-chested Occupy Wall Street type carrying a gun.  He’ll probably just shoot himself in the foot – or someone else’s foot.

    Subsidies Schmubsidies!

There are literally millions of ways to cut the thousands of programs that must be cut for the federal government to function in a way even remotely sane.  For example, welfare should be one, means-tested program providing the recipient with two cards.  One would work in grocery stores and one in other retail stores.  Purchases with these cards should be linked to specific UPCs that would not be attached to junk food, booze, cigarettes, etc.  And they certainly shouldn’t work in ATMs.

    College loans…

…and grants should be jealously awarded.  It wouldn’t hurt the future of this country if they were limited to science, math, language and history.  I know, I know; someone will then insist that Militant Lithuanian Athletic Studies is a science.  And the federal government should get out of the school loan business altogether.  Has Uncle Skidmark ever gotten involved in a business that he didn’t totally cock up?

    Crony Corn Squeaz’ins

Subsidies for ethanol should have never been created.  The industry still won’t discuss the impact of production on the environment, claiming that the slightest explanations would compromise proprietary secrets.  Why the hell do they get a pass? They won’t say how many gallons of fresh water it takes to make a gallon of their crap.  Why the hell do they get a pass on that?

Their crap retains water.  This is bad for your engine.  It is why smart people put boat fuel in their lawn mowers.  No ethanol.  Ethanol would ruin them.  Ethanol scorches cylinder walls.

The big reason to dump the crap is because it doesn’t produce the performance per gallon that gasoline does.  So having ethanol in your tank may cause a little less pollution out of your tail pipe per gallon, but it takes more gallons per commute, for example, thus producing more pollution per hour the car is run.  So at best it is probably near a wash to go with it or without it, minus the consideration for engine damage.

There are independent experts who, if given access to the “proprietary information” the industry hides, would likely prove all of this.  But on its face, it makes perfect sense anyway.  Ethanol is a waste of time and a standing insult to the American taxpayer.  Flush the shit.

Note to the Republicans who fight every year to save the ethanol subsidy: You are whores who have abandoned the principles you claim with your party label.  You must feel skanky when you fight this dishonorable battle every year.  But hey, a lot of that taxpayer money comes rolling back your way every election year, doesn’t it?

To farmers on the government corn dole: Just a few years ago, many of you were broccoli, wheat, peanut or whatever different kinds of farmers there are.  By jumping on the government subsidy wagon and switching to corn, then selling it to the ethanol machine, you participated in an artificial rise in food and feed prices.  I refer most directly to the big super farms operations.  It is a free country and you were offered the whore money from the government.  It is certainly legal to take it.  But you can kiss all of our asses anyway.

The bottom line on ethanol is that without artificial subsidy from the government and the police state requirement that we put the crap in our gas tanks, there would be no one willing to buy it.  That’s because it is of no valuable use.  If it provided great gas mileage or extended the life of your engine, everyone would buy it.  But it doesn’t.  It’s crap.

The list goes on.  For the sake of simplicity, I will paint with a wider brush.  But the light is starting to come on in your head.  Whether you are a voter or a politician, you are starting to see the genesis of an earth-shattering message here.  It will set you apart and make you the distraction from the rest of the news.  There is no need for you to take all this and carbon copy it onto your campaign.  Take the ideas and plug in things you know will work, but think big.  Small ball is for losers.

    And now you REALLY have to open your mind to Madisonian thinking[xii];

An old idea brought new again.  Hold on t’yer ass, Fred.

The federal government should do away with all non-welfare subsidies.  All.  That’s right.  I have never met a subsidy that I thought was worthwhile.  In the eyes of those who cannot open their minds right now, that makes me a hater.  People will say just look at all the programs that the government supports out of sheer kindness.  The government is acting as it should in subsidizing them.

Uh, sorry, Dudley Do-right.  No, the government is not.  In providing subsidies, especially popular ones, the politicians are whoring themselves to gain votes.  With others they are doing it nakedly for the money.  They are outside their mandate, causing people to live their lives more and more for the interests of others and not their own.

Well, why not?, you might snidely sniff.  It would do people some good to take care of others and learn the value of charity.  Or a person must recognize that helping oil companies find oil is good for everyone.  Or if XYZ business fails, people will be laid off.  They need the government money.  Blah, blah, blah.

First, I implore you to read Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt.  This PDF file can be downloaded free from the Ludwig von Mises Institute.  It explains the basic, timeless economic realities the world works under and goes into great detail about the stupidity of subsidies, especially subsidies for businesses.  Any business that needs to depend on subsidies should be out of business.  The fact is most of the companies taking subsidies don’t need them.  But they’d be crazy to pass them up so long as they are available.

Also, when the government takes from one and gives to another it does so under the color of authority and the threat of a gun.  That is not charity.  That is coercion.

And if you do the long division, as Henry Hazlitt has, subsidies benefit only the recipient of the subsidy.  They hurt everyone else.  What you don’t pay for in full by yourself, at the time of sale, you end up paying full boat, along with the cost of someone else’s portion, plus the government’s cut for brokering the subsidy scam.  It makes your life more expensive!

That’s why, before the government was run by total retards, they didn’t subsidize the buggy whip industry with the dawn of the automobile age.  The people in that industry had to find other work.  And they did, thanks to the newly disrupted and exploding economy.  The buggy whip lost its usefulness…unless you like to dress in leather skivvies and say, “Yes mistress!” a lot.  Erm…uh…ahem.  Moving on…

But here is the real rub.  If they do away with all subsidies, that means they’ll take yours.  Bad right? No.  If you are a productive, taxpaying citizen it is a wash at worst.  We may not get our mortgage write-off, but we will no longer be financing thousands of other things, born of crony capitalism, that we presently do not benefit from.

For example, the government has pissed away $154 billion of your money on “green” energy swindles[xiii].  The companies involved were usually tinker toy operations with no hope of generating energy on a large, dependable scale.  Or they were phony scams intended to fail, while the top brass left with your money still in their pockets.  That’s more than $4000 wasted for every man, woman and child in this country.  If the government decided to give that back to you in cash as opposed to the “green” scammers, how would that compare the few hundred dollars the average mortgage write-off would be.  And that’s just one program.  They empty the coffers every year on stupid ideas and then borrow as much as we produce annually, as a nation, on top of that.  EVERY YEAR!

(2023 P4B note: My figure about what was spent by 2014 on GW/CC scams is now laughable.)

How are all your write offs put together looking now, compared to that?  We have been, year in and year out, strapped with greater and greater taxation and government debt while being convinced that the pittance we are left with in the form of a write-off is a really good deal.  I have news for you.  The house always wins.  They take more than they leave and you don’t get the benefits; at least not one equal to what has been taken, and certainly not if you are a productive citizen.

And as a bonus kick in the giblets, the government competes aggressively against its own citizens for every dime of credit available so it can waste our future money on what it can’t pay for this year.

    P. T.  Barnum said there is a sucker born every minute.  I can tell you where 310 million of them live.  That’s what I mean by Swimming with Sharks Writ Large.  So many of our citizens actually believe the federal government is interested in their welfare.  They will be spitting mad that we intend to take their “benefits” from them.  We need to convince a plurality of Americans that their future relies on doing for themselves, not taking a miserly whore’s tribute from a corrupt central government.  Which of our band of merry conservatives has the sack (or sacklette) to take on this fight? If that candidate emerges, will you vote for him or her?

[1]  More on this when we discuss ending party fratricide.

[2]  If W were brighter than a 40-watt bulb, he’d have understood that true conservatism is already the most compassionate (or put more correctly – benevolent) system of governing.  We didn’t need yet another bullshit education program.  We needed to get the federal government out of the education business completely.  It has never educated a single child.  And the more money we throw at the problem, the worse it has gotten.  If Bush, 41 and 43, had done nothing more than spend their time fighting to slash the size of the federal code, we’d have been far better off than we are today.  This, despite the 2008 bank scam and eight years of Wall Street’s favorite son, Barry Obama.

[3]  This is an irresponsible process with which I disagree.  Further, sequestration was not a cut in spending on anything.  It was a reduction on the anticipated increase.  This is automatic and a product of another irresponsible process called baseline budgeting.  That’s been around for decades.  No person calling himself a conservative should EVER vote for anything that starts with automatic spending increases across the board before budget deliberations even begin.

    Ch. 7

[iv]  The point being that he could have simply kept the army and taken over as dictator.  You can be sure there were more then a few who worried over such a possibility. U.S. Grant would repeat the gesture after the Civil War. He marched into DC at the head of a two-day parade. He could have seized power without breaking a sweat.

[v]  Again, that would be Boehner, McConnell, Pelosi and Reid (Note from 2023: That is now McConnell, McCarthy, Schumer and Jeffries. The name may have changed, but the quality continues to fall!)

[vi]  This abbreviation is common and serves to distinguish it from the Department of Energy (DOE).  The similarity to a dysfunction afflicting half of middle-aged men is just a funny coincidence.

[vii]  According to Shutdown lowdown: Sizing up the federal furloughs by Yuval Rosenberg, The Fiscal Times 7 Oct 2013, As many as 800,000 workers were initially affected by the last government shutdown.  The Pentagon called some of them back to work early.  Did you miss any of them? An event known as Snowmageddon 2010 shut down the federal government for a week.  It was that week, the governing class noticed a PR mistake when referreing to workers we really don’t need.  During that week, “non-essential” workers were told to stay home.  That accounted for about 90% of the federal workforce.  Did you miss them?

By the time the shutdown rolled around, the Office Personnel Management cobbled together a new term for the people we really don’t need to be working full-time for the federal government; “non-excepted”.  The term requires an explanation where non-essential doesn’t.  People were getting their noses out of joint about the old term.  The perpetually offended said it was injurious to their self-esteem to be told they were unimportant.  But most were worried the term demonstrated their true worth and that it might have a deleterious effect on their status among the New Aristocracy (federal employees).

  • Rewiring Society For The Better

Of the 11 Points, this one is going to seem like an odd tangent. Along with food, energy, immigration and all the more tangible, strategic pursuits we need to address aggressively, and quickly, there is our greatest short-coming. Those of us 18 and over need to start acting like adults.

As a people, we don’t. We just don’t. For generations we have been led by the nose into some of the most nonsensical social and intellectual rabbit holes. We will believe anything, the more outrageous the silly notion, the more grown human beings seem to flock to it.

Almost all of you will see yourself somewhere in this short narrative. You few who stand above all the nonsense - there are precious few - you will see most of the people you know and love here. And if you are among the few, it will frustrate you and likely already does.

    A Few Examples

    Item 1: Green Scams

We have people who despite the constant moving of the goalposts, despite the gratuitous claims, still believe the political whores when they tell us Climate Change/Global Warming (CC/GW) is an existential threat to humanity. By the most abysmal of prognostications, and the least likely to come to fruition in any foreseeable timeline, CC/GW represents an inconvenience to humanity that we can easily adjust for. If the worst comes to pass, our waterfronts will retreat from what is now waterfront, and do so VERY SLOWLY. And we will have longer growing seasons. Our knowledge of environmental change doesn’t equip us to realistically predict desertification or depopulation from CC/GW.

As an outgrowth of this nonsense, AND THE PROFIT MOTIVE IN PROMOTING THE NONSENSE, the same people are incapable of seeing (or admitting they see) the impossibility of Wind and Solar powering our grid in a realistic way. Further, and I’ve experienced this, when presented with overwhelming information gutting the concept, the same people seek the refuge of the tribe and simply refuse to see it.

As I alluded to in a previous article, do you have any idea what large wind farms do the surface winds downstream from their location, including the movement of seeds, pollen, soil and insects? Do you have any idea the scale at which the government and their cronies intend build these monstrosities? And we ALL know they do not and WILL NOT work as advertised. They will be utterly impractical. Like all government boondoggles, they will not become cheaper over time. They will become absurdly expensive. The power they will end up producing and the estimated income generated for the utilities will be wildly short of what is claimed now. They won’t be worth having. But the Nanny State will insist we keep them spinning or eating sunshine, AND YOU WILL PAY.

I’ll touch on this in detail when I hit the point about energy. But as a demonstration of our intellectual maturity, CC/GW alarmism is a considerable indictment.

Item 2: The SEX CHANGE Thing as a Measure of Our Maturity.

Adults are now looking the most basic, elementary school - hell, preschool - reality square in the face and pretending that reality does not exist. Talk about not following the science! We have a massive movement, actively encouraged by our political whores and their cronies and Instagram dipshits , to confuse and mutilate our CHILDREN based on the most naked, bullshit fad since the Pet Rock. They have taken a rare disorder that actually effects VERY few men and virtually NO women and turned into a money-making, population destroying, political distraction.

And recently, a few trannies have gone viral (and unchallenged by the cancel culture) calling the the arming of those participating in the fad to destroy those who won’t play along with the fad. Let me in the ladies room, claimed one transvestite, or it will be “the last mistake you ever make”.

Let me be clear. No one, not the teachers grooming the kids, not the parents trying to appear super cool at their next wine and cheese party, not the pop psychologists nor the quacks at the Josef Mengele School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University, actually believe that a man/boy can be a woman/girl or vise versa. They know clearly that they are damaging the lives of young people. But there is money to be had, likes the be garnered, coolness to be enjoyed among the woke tribes. So they pretend to believe there is any other driver than XX/XY. There isn’t.

By comparison, this is far more demonstrative of the mass immaturity of our population than GW/CC. To understand climate alarmism, you do have to be paying at least cursory attention to see the truth of the scam. For the the sex change scam, you need only consult your own genitals and you have all the valid information needed to see sex as an adult sees it. Manufactured genitals and fake boobs don’t count. But ALL OF YOU know this already. As does everyone else - the GOP, the Dems, Joe Biden, Budweiser, Target, all sex change activists, all groomers - everybody. We all know that no boy will EVER know what it means to be a girl - ever. No girl will ever know what it means to be a boy. We can speculate, imitate, pretend, we can even find lots of quacks to cut us. But we cannot KNOW. We will never KNOW.

Spending your adult life in a land of “let’s pretend” is not a life.

But we as a society are tolerating the ruin of countless lives because of a fad we ALL reject intellectually. And the non-participants pretend to be okay about it because we lack the requisite maturity to reject barbaric stupidity with adult argument.

Do I have to spell out the damage we are doing in an aging demographic while destroying a child’s ability to reproduce later? I hope none of my readers are THAT stupid.

Item 3: Drugs - Legal and Otherwise

When it comes to illicit drugs, we have no one to blame but ourselves…and in a few cases, Big Pharma.

I weary of the talk about drug addicts “self-medicating” and how we are all supposed to be considerate of that. Yeah, okay, it is an approach to treatment when a druggie want to get clean, but it is not incumbent upon all of us to tolerate zombies in the gutter because they are “self-medicating.”

It IS incumbent upon a mature society to separate these people from their healthy counterparts until they have cleaned up their act. There is nothing healthy about storefronts and streets where kids walk to school being inhabited by wretches actively ingesting, smoking or shooting up hard core drugs. It isn’t healthy for our kids to watch these creatures writhing in the gutter utterly unaware of the world around them.

And here’s the most unhealthy part. When kids do see this, it is MOST unhealthy to say these creatures are “self-medicating.” That plants, in the kids’ heads, an odd sense of legitimacy in the actions of the damaged creature in the gutter.

Another immature excuse that is becoming more common, as the Biden/Mayorkis drug epidemic grows, is coming from families of the victims. I have heard countless times over the last two years family members, usually parents saying something like, “My 16 yr old didn’t know he was taking fentanyl at that party. He thought he taking (some other illicit substance he had no business ingesting) but it was fentanyl - and it killed him!”

Most of our drug deaths started out as rebellious experimentation or outright recreation on the part of the user. (Note: I didn’t say victim.) And little Johnny died because he made what should be universally considered a monumentally stupid decision.

We cannot continue to be a successful culture while losing tens of thousands of adults and adolescents to drugs. To eventually end this lunacy, along with dealing with scizophranic hoemlessness, we must take two steps.

    * We need to reestablish LARGE mental institutions - yes, asylums - with the goal of getting these wretched creatures off the streets (there is no compassion in leaving them there) and rebuilding the ones we can. The ones we can’t rebuild have a roof over their heads, three hots and a cot.

    * Raise better kids. The same parent who entertains the notion that boys can be girls will raise kids who make stupid decisions elsewhere in life. But you don’t have to be grooming your own child to be a failed parent. You simply have to be a lazy parent. It takes REAL involvement in the lives of kids to bring them to adulthood in a healthy productive way. I and my siblings know first hand what a lack of involvement and mentorship from BOTH parents means. And I, for one, have the baggage to prove it.

I didn’t say raise perfect kids. That’s impossible. But we must provide them the foundation necessary to make good decisions. We are failing that on a scale never before seen in this country.

Sports, music, life skills like small engine repair, hiking, reading A BOUND BOOK for enjoyment; these are all things that build better future adults. If you are a parent and don’t know how to do these things, google them, learn them yourself, then let the kids see you doing it. In the process of mentoring better kids, you will become better parents and the reciprocating cycle will continue until they are adults and beyond.

Set boundaries and stick to them. Teach your kids delayed gratification.

It’s not rocket science. But if you want to rid the world of ills like drug addiction, you have to do these things. As adults, your kids may fail. But if you don’t provide the foundation for their success, then part of their failure will be your own. And their recovery from failure will be that much harder.

As for “legal” drugs? We are one of the most, if not THE most medicated society in history. We’ve replaced coping skills, child discipline, good eating habits and physical fitness with drugs. We have an obesity probelm among pre-teens. If you have to deal with anything more challenging than watching TV, there’s probably a drug for that.

The result of all this is self evident. We reinforce the weaknesses in people. We bend their perceptions of nature. I’d love to see a study of a large group of homeless (a growing percentage of our population) and find out how many of those poor wretches were the lucky recipients of Ritalin and other drugs as kids, as opposed to the cohort of schizophrenics a generation before them.

Also, the over prescription of pain medication (sometimes it’s best to deal with some pain) we have created addicts who are now using heroine or fentanyl when they can’t get a corrupt doc to write a new scrip.

Over medicating is the medical equivalent of government spending. It’s the easiest way to pretend to do your job, to pretend to care about the issues. But, like when Uncle Stinky throws money at a problem, by over medicating you just get more of the problem.

Item Last: Recreation/Distraction as a Priority.

We all should enjoy a healthy amount of recreation. A little escapism goes a long way in refreshing the mind and spirit. A camping trip, good food, a well-made film of any genre, music, hell - some uncomplicated recreational sex on occasion - are all good for us.

But when the distraction dominates our lives or becomes important in and of itself, when we identify with the recreation too much, then we contribute to the level of immaturity this post is condemning.

First among the most damaging distractions is electronic. This paragraph is almost a waste of words, but it must be included in the argument. Nothing has done more damage to our collective maturity and ability to relate to each other than cell phones, tablets and TV streaming services. You know it. I know it. But most of you, if you are not actively earning your daily bread, will have your nose glued to one of these things. Some will do it when they supposed be earning.

Some simple suggestions. If you prefer to text rather than talk, if you spend more than two hours per day (TOTAL) on some form of electronics (AND IT IS NOT YOUR JOB) you are actively contributing to our social immaturity.

We’ve gone through the looking glass of immaturity in other areas as well. For example, I’ve heard people complain that pro athletes make many times more than US presidents earn. (This doesn’t include scam artists like the last three Dem presidents.) But the reason these guys make so much money is because we, as a society, gleefully hand over so much of our hard-earned money to them. I think the wealth garnered by athletes and entertainers are a social symptom not unlike the Roman bread and circus.

A little is fine. But selling about a dollars worth of material and labor to you for $260 because it has the name of a man who plays a kid’s game associated with it shows a real priority problem.

You may ask, who do I think I am saying such things? If you do, then you are immature and prove the point. Thank you.

    Okay, so…what?

This was an absurdly short list of things that contribute to our pan-societal maturity problem. But you know where I am going with this. When you look at your life or the lives of your children, ask yourself if their lifestyle or your parenting will help them thrive. If the answer is no, you have to make some changes. When you honestly assess your own views on politics and civics, do you see a person who is intellectually engaged or utterly tribal or disengaged?

Remember, I have said repeatedly throughout the series, if we don’t get all of the 11 Points right, then we face real catastrophe. As the “boomers” age out and economies shrink and trade goods we used to take for granted become scarce or even disappear for a while, we will need to be pre-positioned across the 11 Points to maintain a healthy society.

You can look at the examples I have listed here, or consider other things. We won’t beat the maturity problems if YOU don’t actively participate. And an immature society CANNOT weather the storm that is coming. A mature society can not only get through it all, but they can teach later generations the lessons learned.

As an exercise in maturity, I’ll assess my present market reach and admit that my ideas will not get a lot of play across the internet. That can change. But my fear is that someone will read the 11 Points later and say, “Boy, I wish we’d read this back in the early ‘20s! We’d be far better off now!” Such is life for the voice in the wilderness.

    Life Skills

I mentioned life skills in the previous segment as one of the paths to a mature society. Changing a tire, tuning a lawn mower, a handwritten letter, basic survival skills, etc., will not only be a measure of how mature we are when the socioeconomic shit hits the fan in the next couple of years. They will also be an important tool kit to getting through the mess intact.

“Repair or replace?” will be a much more critical question pretty soon. As things become more difficult to find or more expensive because of strained or vanishing supply chains, it will be real handy to know how to keep what we have running properly.

This has been complicated by how much of what we have, which is now based on the use of microchips. So simple and old school will blend well into answering the question, “Repair or replace?” I have committed to learning new skills on a regular basis that I have no need of presently. But I will need them soon.

I have a tune up kit for my walk behind mower. I was surprised how straight forward replacing the carburetor is. I intend to keep that running for as long as possible. When the motor itself fails, I will google the replacement of the motor and will have, for all intents and purposes, a new mower.

All the tools in my wood shop, except for the Shopsmith, are old - and simple. I am not worried. The Shopsmith is primarily an American company and modular. I can keep everything else running with basic care and feeding.

My wife and I have purchased a small hydroponic starter kit. We will use it to grow herbs to maturity and to start veggies for the outdoor garden. We’ve even kicked around the idea of a chicken coop.

Yes, it is fun to learn how to do these things. For now, a garden would be a good outdoor activity. But by 2026 (probably) it will also be an important part of a healthy diet. The more eggs, chickens and veggies I have, the less of the government/Davos mandated bugs I’ll have to eat later.

I’ll share a lot of the eggs and high-producing veggies with the neighbors so they won’t complain when I rent roosters occasionally. Hey, the hens deserve a bit of fun.

Fixing a bicycle, repairing a window, stringing a guitar are all things your family would do well to learn. Doing so will have multiple benefits that go beyond just one of the 11 Points, as critical as that is.

The most immediate benefit of learning a new skill is a rewiring of the brain that adds a new facet of thinking and processing you or your kids never had before. It’s like learning a new language.

It also breaks the thinking that the only thing worth knowing comes from a class room and a degree. School is fine. And if your interests take you into academia, great. But learning how to use our hands provides alternative pathways to professional fulfillment, and often, skills that will prevent us from ever going hungry.

Let’s say that society fails to learn the lessons of this series and blows one or more of the 11 Points. If you acquire or provide for your children a good grounding in the skills we are now discussing they will be able to easily expand on the skill sets. They won’t have preconceived notions about college versus the trades. While your neighbor’s kid is trying to market their Militant Lithuanian Studies degree, you or your kid will be working and thriving.

Actually, thinking in a more mercenary light, if the world truly blows it, but your family prepares and doesn’t spend valuable time staring at their cell phones, you come out on top. The world will be utterly dependent you YOU or YOUR KIDS.

Again, this does not and should not supplant academics or an appreciation of the classic learning. But it will never hurt anyone to learn how to do body work, or how to cook well, or how to pour a concrete slab.

All knowledge is learning and therefor good. In this scenario, diverse knowledge could spell the difference between struggling to survive and thriving.

Perhaps in two weeks time, I’ll bring my energy piece forward and expound on it. That is a real issue for the future. For now, just remember your heard it here first, the “energy solutions” the government is blowing trillions of your dollars on WILL NOT work as advertised. The damage done by the “solutions” will be horrendous. You need to force your government to change course.

    On that happy note, Cheers.

  • The PGA and LIV

I have had time to digest the PGA’s super weird maneuver announced last week. I have had lots of conversations with golfer buddies, my sons and folks online. And I have reached some conclusions.

The primary reaction was to call it the most egregious example of corporate hypocrisy EVER! It is disgusting the way the PGA first convinced some players to turn down 8 and 9 figures from LIV, only to ink a secret deal with the same people later. I also heard a lot about the PGA is now somewhat representing a tribe of ruthless asshats who would be wiping their asses with sand if not for their oil fields and Western technology.

I agree with those sentiments - 100%. I have a similar reaction every time LeBron James slobs Xi Jin Ping’s knob. I suspect that the boardmembers of the PGA were handsomely greased with tens of millons of dollars in order to get the deal done. Slimey, but perfectly legal. The whole things just stinks.

But after further consideration, I can’t say that there was much of a moral dilemna for anyone who moved to LIV when you consider where they already were.

First, let’s look at the covorting with the country the 9/11 highjackers came from. I can see where almost anyone would object to that. I do. But what is new there? The PGA and the players in several tournaments, especially the Ryder Cup, primarily represent the USA. I see no players refusing to play in international or premiere compititions while our government DIRECTLY facilitates the deaths of tens of thoudands of it’s own citizens PER YEAR in coordination with drug cartels and Chinese Communists.

The Saudi nut bags killed just over 3000 on 9/11. Our government and their cartel buddies kill that many every few weeks! And we never consider the number of wrecked bodies and minds of those still somehow walking around despite their use of government-smuggled narcotics.

We have a government condoning, hell promoting, mass experimentation on kids that would make Mengele blush. We’re not actually killing them, but we are wrecking them physically and psychologically for the entertainment of groomers, kinky parents and Instagram dipshits. Just the other day we had the head puppet, Joe Biden, calling these attention freaks the bravest Americans he’d ever known.

Start writing today. Use the button below to create your Substack and connect your publication with The Political Party Pooper Play Book (P4B)

Gratuitous assertions and new bullshit terms are made up every day to justify it all, but we all know there is NO SCIENCE behind any of it. Even the people making up the bullshit terms know it’s all crap. It’s a sick fad - the sickest ever.

We live in a nation where favored corporations write our laws, clawing more and more of our money unto themselves and killing competition. Our legislators don’t write our laws. They are just instructed to vote them up or down without reading or debating them. Xi had to kill off ALL those he did not control to get that kind of servile cooperation from HIS government. Our “representatives” just roll over and take it dry.

So as low as the PGA appears to have sunk, once I put it in perspective, I don’t see much to get in a snit about. They’re just signing on to play for different bag o’ dicks.

  • Bathing in Feces

As of 7 June, this was the list of candidates I planned to write about and the order in which I support them. Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron DeSantis, RFK Jr., Chris Sununu, Tim Scott and Donald Trump. I am holding Doug Burgum in abeyance until I know more about him.

Trump was still on the list because as of 7 June he still is the leading candidate for the GOP. And I’d vote for any GOP nominee over the garbage the Left is putting forward right now. The rest of the GOP field not listed and the pathetic puppet in the White House don’t rate the effort.

For example Nikki Haley, who I like very much, clearly spends most of her time trying to sound pithy. She’d be a better press flack than president. Pence couldn’t convey a sincere emotion if you paid him to do it. He is also a borderline theocrat.

Ramaswamy tops the list because he is the smartest, most qualified candidate. He is ten times the business man Trump ever was without the girly tweets and posts. He states his case clearly and has the most sound ideas.

But that was 7 June. As of 9 June, and for as long as the present circus in Miami continues, I am throwing all my efforts behind Orange Man. Once again, the Second Obama Administration has weaponized the FBI and Justice departments to destroy the man they feel is the greatest threat to their Regime, their Cabal. They are doing this because they have not one, honest, valid point to argue for their continued occupation of Washington DC.

Relying heavily on media fluffers and your ignorance of the law and reason, which they have been slowly whittling away for generations, Biden’s handlers, including that wretched wife of his, are yet again, throwing a stick into our electoral spokes. You will likely just watch it happen. Then (and this is what the Cabal is counting on), you will return to your work or ballgame or puppy videos. The Cabal will then continue to take more and more wealth and power from you. The ruling class will get stronger still and you will become even less relevant, even to yourselves. Good proles, good pathetic little proles.

This is a short list of people who have covered themselves in smelly, warm shit, mired their organizations in the same shit and destroyed the credibility of American justice. Only their removal from any seat of power, and their imprisonment, will begin to repair the damage they’ve done.

The most tragic and least powerful figure here is Joe Biden. While he smeared a lot of shit on himself (let’s call it shmearing) gleefully taking bribe money, he’s now only a shell of the formal knucklehead who bragged about taking bribes. Now this poor old bastard just stands there while his wife and the people who are supposed to work for him publicly shmear him.

Speaking of Jill, she’s on the list because she is the person who provides the dummy for shmearing every goddamn day. She heartlessly pushed her husband to continue being shmeared because she has a whole family to protect from whoever might get into the White House in ‘24. If Joe loses to Orange Man Hunter goes to jail and the money will be confiscated. She has nice houses and money of her own to protect. So she submits the man she is supposed to love to public indignities, in doing so she shmears herself. She is beneath contempt.

The next group into the diarrhea bath would be the people who are actually running the executive branch right now. And this it where the wholesale, large scale shmearing begins. Barry O, Valerie Jarrett, Ron Klain, Susan Rice (back from her first shit smearing in 2016) are the true Chief Executives running the White House. Barack Hussein said it himself that if he could run the government by remote control, he would, and he is.

Having run the MOST corrupt administration in our history and weaponizing government departments on a scale not seen before him, Barry has pulled out all the stops and is doing so on an even grander scale while running the “Biden” Administration. This leaves Biden holding the bag and looking stupid if any of the shit actually hits the fan. Again, thanks for the tackling dummy, Doctor Jill.

Hah! And some of you call 6 January an insurrection. Get in the game, folks!

Merrick Garland is pouring putrid buckets of the nastiest excrement over his own head. He has, twice now, raised procedural crimes to major criminal cases, ignoring ongoing court battles and negotiations to strike out against the man who doesn’t share his effete world view. I don’t think much of Mitch McConnell, but he did us a solid by not letting that sniveling, slimey worm onto the Supreme Court.

An equally dainty and spiteful worm, Alejandro Mayorkas, has his own bucket to dump on himself by assisted Mexican drug cartels and the corrupt teachers’ unions. In the case of American Justice, he has weaponized Homeland Security to take out anti-abortion protestors and people who have the nerve to argue with their school boards. In the case of actual homeland security, he is overseeing the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans on behalf of the cartels and the ChiComms. That would be his willing allowance of fentanyl to flood the country. He is also actively facilitating the invasion by millions of illegals from all over the world. That douche gets an extra bucket.

There is nothing new here. Going all the way back to the first days of the B. Hussein Administration and Fast and Furious, we watched Eric Holder publicly, aggressively shmear himself to create a false narrative that guns in Mexico were coming from the United States. As a bonus, he got an American agent killed. He and Barry O should still be serving time for that. We didn’t get so much as an apology. All we got were lies and more shmearing.

Through the years many lesser, but incredibly arrogant players took up their own shit buckets. We watched as Comey, McCabe and now Christopher Wray slimed themselves along with the reputation of the FBI because Orange Man bad. The drama queen Peter Stzrok and his bimbo girlfriend, Lisa Page gave themselves a shmearing that no bath can ever wash away.

John Brennan and James Clapper, along with countless criminal acts against the Republic, poured bucketloads of Left Wing shit on themselves. Again, in the end, it was all about their TDS. AND THEY ARE PROUD OF IT TO THIS DAY.

Loretta Lynch set a new low bar for AG’s while slobbing Obama’s…I mean…while serving in the Obama Administration. She not only became Obama’s lawyer, as opposed to the people’s AG, she became an active agent on behalf of BJ Bill’s wife. Hell, she even met with BJ Bill (it was supposed to be a secret - oopsie) in furtherance of the big fix. She gets two buckets of shit.

BJ Bill’s wife has a swimming pool of raw sewage she swims in almost every day. She has absolutely on sense of dignity. Like “Doctor” Jill, she’s got a criminal enterprise to protect and more money to make. And the Left cheers for her.

Even Columbia University and the College of William and Mary have poop coating the walls of their schools. They hired BJ Bill’s wife and James Comey to teach young people. And get this, Comey is teaching a course in ethical leadership.

These Left Wing ideologues have no sense of shame or irony. All the scum listed here are the Orwellian ideal of corruption and abuse of power.

So for me, at least for now, jumping on the Trump train is a no-brainer. These people persecuting DJT are nastier than a broken sewage treatment plant. And the damage runs deep. There are agents in the CIA, Homeland Security and the FBI who since 2009 have known no world other than rampant corruption under Clapper, Brennan and Holder et al. They are now moving into positions of leadership. They MUST be purged from government and held up for ridicule and disgrace. This abuse of power ends or the Republic ends.

  • Street Politics: It Ain't Your Daddy's GOP Anymore 4

Before we commence with today’s enlightenment, I’d like to take a moment to thank Nick D’Allesandro and Karen Hockenberry for their fine appearances here on the P4B. Not only did they provide a path to health and fitness for us, they left your host looking in the mirror in great distress. But now I have the info to fix that. Karen will be back in a future episode to take a deep dive into specifics of everything we touched on. Awesome guests.

This installment of the book couldn’t be more timely. As McCarthy and Biden go through the theater that was the debt ceiling “compromise”, it’s good to focus on where all that money comes from and who owns the money.

And if you think we have inflation now, think about $4 trillion in new debt coming on the next two years. That’s assuming a briskly growing economy, which we do not and will not have for the foreseeable future.

Here’s the nut of the debt ceiling theater. What will the establishment Regime, GOP or Dem, do with a $4 trillion increase in the debt ceiling? The answer is, of course, they will borrow up to that ceiling quickly and spend it all. There is nothing left under the sun the Government of the United States can responsibly spend money on. It’s all bullshit now, just people passing around bags of your money to each other, your money, pretending to do things of value.

Keep in mind that this book was pretty much in the can in 2014, and revised in ‘15 and ‘16.

So let’s get to it, I might have some comments to close with.

    5  OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY

"One of the great debates of our time is about how much of your money should be spent by the State and how much you should keep to spend on your family.  Let us never forget this fundamental truth: the State has no source of money other than money which people earn themselves.  If the State wishes to spend more it can do so only by borrowing your savings or by taxing you more.  It is no good thinking that someone else will pay—that "someone else" is you.  There is no such thing as public money; there is only taxpayers' money. "

    - Margaret Thatcher

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

    - Margaret Thatcher

Before we get to the nut of it…

The discussion about how the government siphons off your money is not all about taxes, you see.  For example, interests rates have been held artificially low for years now.  This has two, and only two reasons.  One is to make easy money available to Wall Street and big banks.  The other is to provide the government an easy means to service debt and acquire new debt.  As I’ll say elsewhere, your government competes directly against you for every dime of available credit.  Not only that, if your finances looked 1/100th as bad as the government’s, you wouldn’t qualify for a loan.  But the government does.

Further, by keeping interests rates artificially low, the Fed cheats you out of several percentage points of interest.  The interest in your bank account doesn’t even keep pace with inflation.  If the interest rates were market driven and based on demand for cash or credit, you would be making more in interest.  So the government gets to irresponsibly continue to borrow money at your direct expense now and at your future expense when it comes time to pay the piper for all that government debt.  Lucky you!

    Let’s Get Down To It!

We conservatives talk a great game when it comes to tax reform.  But we rarely follow through.  It’s the same with profligate spending.  Those we’ve voted in only trim around the edges on these things.  In the meantime our economy has slowly withered.  The success of small and medium sized businesses has occurred not because of what the Beltway whores have done, but despite it.  Imagine where we’d all be right now if those businesses didn’t have to contend with a bureaucracy that spends its time writing regulations that favor a chosen few of the “bigs. ” Almost to the last one, these regulations have the intent of interfering with the companies that compete with the well connected.

Between a monstrous government and the crony class it supports (that’s called corruption) we dance on the precipice of losing it all.  More and more people are giving up, apathy is at an all-time high, productivity is floundering and growth has been a joke for years.  We are very close, a percentage point of two, to having more takers than makers in our economy.  We are not only losing jobs to other countries, we are losing corporations as well.

This is the perfect time to change all that.  The Progressives have never been so discredited.  The vast majority of Americans are beginning to awaken to this.  But to do it right, to actually turn the ship around will take an extra athletic effort from a candidate, soon-to-be elected official, with guts and grit.

But that candidate will first, have a lot of work to do changing what citizens think they know about the nature of taxes and government spending.

We’ll get to the spending later.  But for now, the most important point you can hammer home is that government spending, as it exists today, can never give you as much as you can provide for yourself.  If you are working middle class, you will never see a benefit commensurate with what you pay into this malfunctioning system.

If you look to the government for anything, thinking you benefit in the long run, you are a sucker (the exception being anyone who truly cannot do for themselves).  And if a real conservative emerges and takes this country where it needs to go, suckers who try to hold onto the government tit by cheating will be left behind and will deserve every misfortune that will come with that decision.

That said, lets discuss where the governing class gets the money it wastes every year.

And before anyone gets their panties in a wad about the tax cuts and simplification we will discuss, I’ll tip my hand now.  We are going to scatter most of the IRS to the far corners of government and fire the rest.  So now you don’t even need to ask.

    The Ugly Truth

Of this entire book, this is the section that will be most lied about, in order to discredit the message.  Although I will write in later chapters that considerations must be carved out for those in true need, commentators will say that the plans I discuss will be designed to hurt the poor and favor the rich.  Even though the numbers I use will be uniform for all income levels, the peanut gallery will still say that the plans will hurt the middle class.  And they will say the same about you if you adopt any of it.  But don’t worry.  Most people will know the “progressive” commentators are full of shit.

    Truth #1

Corporations pay no taxes.  They just don’t.  It may look like they do on paper, but they pay no taxes.  Taxes are factored into the cost of doing business.  They know where they want to be in a year; their financial picture, shares, sales, debt, etc.  When they calculate all this, they also calculate future taxes and they note how they came out against past taxes.  That all goes into what they charge the customer.  If a dime of taxes comes out of intended profit or the shareholders’ cut, that is considered bad management.  So when the government says that JC Penny must pay a 30% rate, who do you think pays that? The customers, of course.  You.  You pay JC Penny’s taxes, the wholesaler’s taxes, the manufacturers’ taxes and so on.

And so it is with all for-profit companies.  You, the reader, the voter, pays for it all.  In fact a great deal of the debt you carry went to pay other peoples taxes.  Then you pay your own taxes.  And it’s all perfectly legal.  If you think about it, it cannot possibly work any other way.

Now, where might there be a few exceptions to this rule?  At times during the year, Walmart or Target might be looking for a way to undercut the competition.  They may calculate the tax liability of a group of products which, if priced correctly, would pull in hundreds of shoppers.  This might be strong enough to calculate below the tax burden with the intention of making up the difference in volume.

But for the most part, if you are buying stuff multiple stores sell routinely, like groceries, they will set their prices to turn a profit and that includes offsetting their tax burden.

Even in a lock-step communist state, whatever a business concern is allowed to eek out as a living will still pay no taxes.  They will decide what they can make from a product.  They will then calculate the tax burden and charge their customers extra to cover that bill as best they can.

Now, the shareholders and the board of directors and employees of the company do pay taxes on their personal income.  But when a member of the board of JC Penny buys a lawn mower from Home Depot, he is also paying Home Depot’s taxes for them.  And since it is likely that he can buy a nice zero-turning radius riding mower, the mower will cost more.  So he will not only pay more retail cost and sales tax, he’ll carry a bigger share of Home Depot’s corporate taxes.  This compared to say, me and my 22-inch walk behind mower.

Perhaps I’ll deal later with the added insult of paying a company’s taxes while they are also getting federal subsidies.  Yeah, you paid for that too.

So how do we avoid spending so much of our money for the direct benefit of companies, large and small? First you get rid of the goodies the government provides at our expense.  All of them! ALL.  OF.  THEM.  That too will be discussed in future chapters.  Then you do what will make the liberals go out of their minds; and make the average “conservative” candidate pass urine.  You slash the corporate tax.

There’s more, of course.  But let’s stay here for a minute.  Many of you just dropped the book on the floor and have to get your breathing and heart rate back to normal before we move on.

One deep cleansing breath, and…sigh.  Okay! Let’s dive in.

To understand how we will all benefit from this you must think dynamically.  You must shed all the progressive dogma the media has been excreting on you since FDR.  You must see this clearly in your mind as it unfolds.

Candidates, you must get hot with the whiteboard or PowerPoint when discussing this.

Handlers, shut the hell up for a few days! The American people are not stupid.  Most people will get this; enough to get your man elected.  And it WILL work!

Karl Rove, have a sandwich, eat your tie, I don’t know…choke yourself.  But shut up! You know better than anyone that this is a GREAT move and will set the economy on fire.

The First Reason to Say, “Why the hell not?”

Well-connected businesses such as GE, Aetna, and big Wall Street firms not only don’t really pay taxes; they are not charged the same taxes as other companies.  Why would they be? They actually get to write the laws that cover their industry.[1] As a result, they can use this reduced overhead cost to beat out competitors.

So benefit number one of radically reduced corporate tax for everyone is that companies will be competing on an even playing field.  Take whatever the federal corporate tax is at the moment and reduce it to ten percent.  Even that will be an illusion, as I said before. That will be the reduction in the markup companies will charge for their goods and services.  The discount could be substantial, but as you will see, inconsequential in the larger scheme of things.  No matter.  It will work.

    The Second Reason

And no, they won’t keep charging you the old prices and hide the money in a mattress.  They will want to compete as they always have.  They will want a loyal customer base.  They will chop their prices as far as the market will bear.

There will be companies who won’t see that much difference in their tax rate anyway.  Established companies, and medium and large companies, are very careful to maintain the expenses and infrastructure in such a way as to maximize write-offs.  So in many cases while the corporate tax rate may be 30%, the effective tax rate is much lower, or non-existent.  With compliance costs and government inefficiency on policing all this money, it will turn out that the government won’t lose nearly as much as you might think in this scenario.  If you are old enough to recall the repeal of the boat tax and luxury tax, it is most likely that within a year or two the tax receipts will be higher than they are with the present tax rate.  We are getting rid of all the write-offs and gimmicks.

    2 minute ad

Now We Take All The Power From the Progressives!

Kill the income and payroll tax withholding.  BJ Bill’s old lady just threw up in her high fiber cereal.  Karl Rove is pecking out talking points and telling anyone who will listen that this is too controversial.

I didn’t say to do away with taxes.  I just said the automatic withholding should go.  It puts us to sleep.  We don’t pay attention until the end of the year and then we wait anxiously, like pathetic proles, hoping that Daddy Government will give us some money back.  OUR MONEY!

Further, our tax system is a grand waste of money.  The government spends billions making sure you pay your “fair share”.  Then it spends more refunding what turns out not to have been your fair share after all.  Billions more are wasted chasing scofflaws that don’t pay.  And in the private sector, companies spend mountains of billions in compliance to tax laws.  This is all money that comes out of your pocket and helps make the things you buy more expensive.  Yes, your pockets.  I am speaking to you, personally.

In fact, I’m looking at you right now.  Creepy, huh?

There’s a much more effective way of collecting taxes.  More importantly, this tax will be there for us to consider every time we make an installment.

Do you remember when I said we should get rid of all the goodies? One of those goodies is a tax refund.  It is a joke to begin with.  It demonstrates that the government shouldn’t collect as much as it does.  It is also the return on an interest free loan to the government.  If all we did on the personal income tax level was to make it payable on an annual basis, your TV and your google machine would be inundated with banks and credit unions touting their tax account plan.  You set aside your monthly tax burden in an interest bearing account and at the end of the year; voila (that’s French for “tah-dah!”) you cut Uncle Stickyfingers a check.  The interest is yours.  The more imaginative institutions will even offer you the service of calculating your total tax liability and help file your return.  Sweet right?

But there is still a question of all the money wasted by the government chasing money to begin with.  Also, a financial expert buddy of mine, Joe R, pointed out the danger of this scenario. Most American WON’T do the responsible thing and open one of these cool accounts. They’ll spend all their cash on goodies and at the end of the year have to scramble to come up with their tax obligation. So we are going to take it one step further.

Kill the Income Tax, and Initiate Point of Sale (POS) Retail Tax.[2]

The effective tax rate, the amount actually owed, for the vast majority of people, is lower than the amount paid to the government each year; often MUCH lower.  This is especially evident, on 15 April, of people who claim zero on their W-4 hoping to get money back each year. (This particular approach to paying taxes is proof that we are brainwashed lemmings.)

Tax deductions are a combination of behavioral engineering and theater, designed to 1) get you to do something like buy a house or 2) convince you that you are “getting something” from the benevolent government.  Both actually cost the American taxpayer money in compliance on the part of citizens and enforcement and bookkeeping on the part of the government.  In other words, they are bullshit.

I know when I need to buy a house.  I’m not going to make such a massive investment because Daddy Government will give me back a little of my own money each year for having done so.  As far as I am concerned, I can buy my house and the government can BUTT OUT and charge me less in taxes to begin with.

To avoid all this, once we have slashed the government and put the balanced budget plan into effect, we can initiate federal retail sales or point-of-sale (POS)[3] tax.  The POS tax would be unquestionably fair.  But for now the government is too over bloated to be supported by even a 25% retail tax[4] which would be too high to charge people at the cash register.  This, despite the $5 trillion+ that we spend in retail each year.  It’s scandalous! Criminal!

So radical cuts, some of which will be discussed later, must be made concurrent with the establishment of a POS tax.  This will require a huge wave of conservative legislators and a gutsy president to pull it off.

There are two glaring advantages to the POS tax.  There is the inherent simplicity.  No more returns to file.  No piles of paperwork to send to your accountant.  The other is the fact that you will see the taxes you pay every time you make a purchase.  Knowing the POS just added to the cost of your Big Gulp, you would be much more attuned to government waste and corruption.  A tax on your big sugary drink to help those who can’t help themselves?  Maybe.  But a tax on the same drink to subsidize the giants in the sugar industry? They can kiss your ass! Right?

An additional advantage to paying a POS tax: You will be paying a tax as a result of a voluntary action, not just because you committed the offense of being alive.

We all know that 15% of $1000 is the same burden proportionally, as 15% of $10,000 or $1,000,000.  The vast majority of the media will try their Orwellian best to make you un-know this fact.  They will pretend that making a successful person pay a greater percentage of his income than that paid by someone less successful is actually fair.  That is ludicrous.  It is that kind of twisted thinking that has allowed the federal government to become the monster it is today.  It is the kind of logic that led to the earned income tax credit payable to people who have earned no income and paid no tax.

Voters and candidates alike should be prepared to slap down this stupid kind of argument at every opportunity.  And the press will be stupid enough to provide lots of opportunities.  In making your case, remind the listener their tax compliance will be wildly easier than it is right now and that each year, the government tax receipts will go further and further.  This will be the result of more and more taxpayers working every year and the government pig being butchered down to a manageable, ethical and constitutionally correct size.  And at no time will we have to remove the safety nets that exist for people below the poverty line right now.  There may be people at 400% of the poverty line getting less government goodies than they get right now. But fewer of them will want it each year.  They’ll be making real income from real jobs.

    Icing on the Cake

Here’s another benefit of eliminating the corporate tax and creating the POS tax.  Do you remember those board members and CEOs we discussed when talking about JC Penny and Home Depot? Well these guys spend incredible amounts of money on accountants to find ways of reducing their effective tax rate down to…well, zero if possible…but definitely lower than the prevailing bracket.  It is all perfectly legal and I support a person paying the minimum the law allows.  But they, like everyone else, will have to pay the going rate on what they purchase under a POS plan.  And rich people buy really nice stuff! This will be a windfall in tax receipts.   But if conservatives get both houses and the White House in ’16 and hold on to them, the government won’t have long to enjoy their new pile of money.

The net result is that it won’t be necessary for the government to gouge the rich and the rest of us for 24, 28, 30% of our income.  The neighborhood of 15% - 17%, maybe less, will do nicely.

Fair warning! The media, the Dems and the members of the establishment Republicans too stupid to understand what is happening this year, will fight this idea tooth and nail.  This type of tax doesn’t allow them to play games with tax money and cheat the American public.  They will tell you that such a program will have terrible consequences.  It will be fun to see how creative they get.  But none of their protestations will be true.  Write your representatives now and tell them to join the POS tax movement.

Now, dear reader, with some appreciation of where Uncle Stinker get his money, let’s turn to how he might spend it more wisely.

The next installment is titled Good Stewards: Swimming With Sharks. It is one of my favorite chapters. So next week I will hit one of the 11 points and immediately follow that with Chapter 6 two weeks from now. Cheers.

Important buttons below the footnotes and commentary.

[1]  Example Aetna and Obama care.  They sat down often with Jonathan Gruber, et al and designed a law making Aetna one of the agents of the government, operating the new government medical insurance industry known as Obamacare.

[2]  In the first release of this book, I favored a flat tax and no automatic withholding.  You would pay your tax at the end of the year.  This was one of those ideas that works great until you add people to the mix.  As my friend Joe, a financial advisor points out, many people would simply spend their money, having nothing left at tax time.  Because so many Americans have been conditioned to be consumers without consequence, we’d quickly become Greece.  Even quicker than we will on the present system.

[3]  This acronym shouldn’t be confused with another common usage as in, “Boy, that Sharpton! What a POS!”

[4]  According to the Census Bureau table 475, Federal Government Receipts by Source, as of 2011 total receipts were $2.174 trillion.  While the retail market has grown since then, it probably hasn’t grown as much as our big federal piggy.  With retail sales in the neighborhood of $5 trillion per year, replacing government receipts would require an enormous cut in spending. There are entire departments we can cut.

    * A footnote of hindsight: As of 2023, the cost of living or governing has not gone up by 100%. But the government is managing to tax, print, borrow and spend at greater than that rate. When will you wake up and learn you are being play; being robbed?

    * If you’ve been with me for a while, you’ve heard me talk about Modern Monetary Theory (MMT). Over the last several decades of a government routinely devaluing our net worth with profligate spending, the ruling class has not invoked MMT. Now they do.

MMT says you can print, borrow and spend all the money you wish and it won’t hurt anything. This is only half true. The whole truth is that it won’t hurt the governing class and their cronies. But it WILL hurt you. But the ruling class and their cronies don’t give a warm, smelly shit about you.

    * I talked a lot about growth today. When I published this book we were still at the end of the corrupt debacle known as the Obama administration. We had been instructed by Barry O to get used to 1% growth, that it was in his words, “the new normal.”

Then, Trump came along and had explosive growth by simply getting the executive branch out of the way of the free market. On occasion, he got some pro-growth laws passed through Congress.

Then the Dems made sure that their overreaction to Covid, erased all the gains and even managed to take the economy BELOW the Barry O economy. As the Covid theater waned, we came roaring back. In 2021 Barry’s puppet took over and the economy immediately went flat again.

So, as your read this, we are for all intents and purposes back in the Obama economic crapper.

    * Point number 3 should not be seen as blind cheer leading for Trump. He did know enough to get out of the way, but he also had a “spend wildly” tendency. While the GOP congress was fighting the phony Covid bills and trying to keep the spending orgy down, it was Trump who called for the GOP to go big, to call for even more then the Dems were pushing for. This was as childish and stupid as his social media posts remain today.

  • If People Can't Eat, The Rest Is Pointless (Reposted in direct response to the Davos/WEF cult.)

I’ve been saying there are ten major areas where we have to get our shit together in order to get through the next two decades with any kind of success. I lied. It’s 11.

The topics are Energy, Crime, Civility, Education, Maturity, Economics, Life Skills, Trades, Immigration and Water. Today, I am adding Food to the list but not for obvious reasons.

I have already hit Education, Economics and Water. I may revisit Ed. and Econ. before the series is finished. But for now, since I am thinking of it today, let’s talk about Food. This is a fairly simple topic so I may have time to bring in another topic before this episode is up.

As many of you know, a great deal of this series is based on the work of Peter Zeihan. His book, The End of the World is Just the Beginning is a must read. If you don’t read another book this year, if you haven’t cracked a book in a decade, you MUST read this one…and, well, my next book…and the one I am serializing here. But I digress.

In his book, Zeihan details his view of what the world faces as populations age out and the deglobalization that will follow in short order. The picture ain’t pretty. A common theme throughout his thesis is this. Because of our geography, relatively healthy/young-ish population and productive neighbors, the US should get through this era in fairly good shape compared to the rest of the world.

I would agree with that IF (caps, bold, italicized) we had a stable, civil population, an honest government and a true free market fully functioning today. We don’t. Today’s topic is a prime example of the weaknesses we face that could put this country needlessly into a tailspin as the world comes unglued.

When I started this series I didn’t see food as a major concern. But as I thought about it further I realized that many of the stupid things we do in the agricultural arena, if permitted to continue, will negate some or all of the advantage we should have.

Keep in mind that we still import lots of food to this country. We export too, but that is a matter of abundance in specific food sub-groups. When the existing world trade and production system begins to break down, certain foods will become rather scarce; far more scarce than they should be.

If we didn’t have an over-bloated central government, peopled by dipshits, I wouldn’t worry. But we do. They are intentionally making the production of food difficult to ward off local, potential, theoretical problems at the cost of creating HUGE, real, national problems.

Because of their restrictions on natural gas, fertilizers are extremely expensive. When framers complained about this they were told not to worry, the GOVERNMENT is going to set the new lower STANDARD for how much fertilizer you can use. Without such Maoist interference from the Nanny State, yields are already dropping across the country. The government is going to see to it they drop further, in the name of making your life better.

The fact is we should already be doing two things regarding our veggies. We should be goosing yield as quickly as possible and growing more varieties in anticipation of losing many from the international market. Even some of those will go away for a very long time since we can’t grow them here. But at least we can widen our own varieties of grain and vegetables.

Second, in order to facilitate those varieties, WE NEED TO STOP PUTTING FOOD IN OUR GAS TANKS!!! You’ve heard me talk about this before. By subsidizing ethanol much of our farmland has been plowed under for the production of corn. This makes the gas you buy more expensive, causes the cost of the abandoned produce more expensive, scorches the cylinders in your engine and decreases mileage - defeating the intended purpose of less pollution.

The political whores know all of this. But they can’t let go of the subsidy. It keeps money from farmers associations and PACs coming into their own pockets…er, uh… I mean into their campaign funds. They are intentionally damaging our food production for a pointless but lucrative exercise that helps NO ONE! So, no more food in gas tanks. Write your representatives, state and local, NOW.

I’ll have more on this when I cover Energy specifically. That will be a multi-episodic topic.

    It’s not just the veggies

The DC Stalinists are actively destroying our beef and pork industries through onerous regulations. We should be swimming on beef and pork. But, as was announced by the Davos/WEF cult (present owners of most of our government), beef will be permitted as an occasional treat for the masses. Only wealthy people (them) will be able to afford it after they finish crushing the industry.

You will be permitted to eat all the bugs the plants they own can produce.

And for the record, yes, I do believe the destruction of our meat processing plants and the deaths of so many cows, pigs and chickens stinks to high heaven. For example, we were told last month the 18,000 COWS died in an explosion and fire at a dairy farm. 18,000? Did the explosion kill them? If so, how large was the tactical nuke? Did the fire kill them - and not the guy the firemen pulled out alive? If it was the fire, how long were the animals allowed to cook? That’s a lot of big animals. And last year it seemed like every month we were hearing about yet another fire at a processing plant. So there’s that.

    Then there’s the fish.

I saw an ad on TV about whales and dolphins beaching themselves in great numbers. The idiotic upshot of the commercial was that the sea mammals were beaching themselves because of climate change. It’s pure propaganda. It is 180 degrees out from the truth.

Whales and dolphins are beaching themselves in huge numbers right now. But it isn’t because of climate change. It is because of the way the government and cronies are wasting your money in the oceans with worthless tinker toy ideas which they pretend will fight climate change. For months they have been sounding the east coast preparing to put wind turbines off the best beaches we have. Sea mammals caught between the sonar and the beach are running up on the beach to get away from the deafening and disorienting noise.

I’ll leave aside the uselessness and ugliness of the stupid windmills, again for when I discuss energy. Now we’ll just stick to the impact they’ll have on food.

But we don’t eat whales and dolphins. That’s true. Those poor animals are suffering pointless deaths from what will kill off our east coast fishing industry from New York to South Carolina. And they’ll continue to kill themselves when the windmills are in place.

But it will be the construction of these monstrosities that will disrupt prime fishing areas. What fish are not killed by the actually construction will move, likely into international waters. They will move because of the massive construction that will occur over many years. They will stay away, and mammals will continue to beach themselves because the windmills will impart their own sound signature in the waters for as long as they are turning. The sea life will see these areas as danger zones for about 25 years. That will be when the last of these wind pigs stops turning because NO ONE will overhaul or replace them.

So years from now, our grandchildren will point to the derelicts and ask, “Grandpa, what are those?” And you can answer, “Oh, just some useless shit the Biden Administration left for us.”

    Here’s the upshot.

Picture your favorite seafood restaurant at your favorite beach resort on the east coast. I was in one last week. My sons and I, and some friends went to Carmen’s in Sea Isle. It’s a fine place and a famous landmark. The majority of the menu is local catch; whatever is in season.

Once construction starts on the useless pin wheels there will be NO meaningful fishing off the Jersey shore. What fish survive the destruction will leave. Carmen’s will have no point to continue to exist for many years, if ever again. This will be the case in town after town for 650 miles - more than that if you follow the contours of the coast.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Every person who benefits from the seafood industry, both as consumers and providers (processing, packaging, transporting, equipment suppliers, retailers and countless other ripple effect businesses that surround seafood facilities, small and large) will suffer needlessly. The industry will be destroyed on the east coast.

    Food is the keystone issue.

I heard it said, I know not the author, if you have food you have lots of problems. If you don’t have food you have one problem.

Of all the pieces of our lives this series addresses, food is king. Without it, and in abundance, all other problems become pointless issues. People will start dying - needlessly. If Peter Zeihan is correct about the collapse of the Chinese economy, the demographic meltdown, the transportation disruptions and much more, food will become a dicey deal everywhere. Mathematically, I don’t see that as a BIG “if”!

Zeihan says he doesn’t see it as a major problem here for the reasons I mentioned earlier. But in the last several decades we have become masters at wasting time and resources on stupid pursuits. Or government is notorious for doing exactly the opposite of what should be done.

While ruining every sector of the economy they can, energy, labor, lending, savings and more, they are using Orwellian and Rand-ian nonsense to destroy our food supply.

If we don’t loosen the screws on natural gas NOW and allow the fertilizer industry to recover before things come unraveled then all the rest of the list we’re covering here won’t matter. If the Regime continues to trash our fisheries with the wind tinker toys, a whole sector of life on the east coast will disappear.

We can have a civil, educated, non-gender-psychotic society. If that society can’t eat it still goes in the crapper along with civility, education and gender, and the rest of the list.

All the points work together and MUST be brought into working order. NOW!

So my question is, as always, how long will YOU let this continue? Whether we speak of just the food issue, or the whole list, how long will YOU allow it to go on? Email you representatives, state and federal. Troll their social media. Badger them into action NOW - before things get desperate. By the time the first idiotic wind pig blights the eastern shore, by the time the farming sector starts to die, it WILL be too late for letters and emails. Things will get extreme and angry quickly

Here is how the BIG FOOD SCAM will work (is working).

In the Netherlands, quoting the Davos/WEF cult as the author of the bullshit, the government spoke of how THEY should tell farmers how to farm and distribute the food, based on race and social status of the recipients.

This scam was played elsewhere, for example, Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has ceased to exist as a country as a direct result.

The take over and denial of a proper amount of fertilizer is being touted as an answer to Climate Change.

At the same time The Cult is preaching that coming food shortages will be caused by CC/GW. This is a lie, of course. We haven’t even gotten into the stage of extended growing seasons from CC/GW. If that actually happens it will still be long time before the Iberian peninsula turns into a desert. In fact, there is strong thinking that increases in CO2 will lead to the forestation of some desert areas.

The CERTAIN food disruptions will come - are already starting to come - from falling demographics and deglobalization. ANY “answer” that is created by the government/Davos Cult will be total mess. Our international food sector will operate with the quality and efficiency of a Soviet car company. That’s not EVEN a maybe. It is a mathematical certainty.

The reason Davos/WEF is pursuing this is to further control you. They see what I see. They see what Zeihan sees. And they want to cash in on it. That’s why China and Bill Gates are buying swaths of farmland in North America. They’ll game the markets, they’ll decide what is grown and the Cult will control distribution - period. Our food, our labor will be doled out to the world; the rest of the Davos domain.

The absolute result in this country will be diminished incentives to farm and produce maximum results. This will result in LESS food being created and more starvation around the world.

The free market is the answer. To defeat these Cultists, states, municipalites and farm communities need to band together and IGNORE the new EPA and Dept of Ag policies (they make ‘em up every other month) and work with the energy sector privately to establish a strong market for natural gas-supported fertilizer.

“Let not the lies exist through me".” Solzhenitsyn

    Immigration

I am about to find out who, among my readership, are liars.

We have some time. These podcasts usually run between 40 minutes to an hour. I try to give you lots to cover during your commute, run, walk or whatever you do while listening.

The government told you Obamacare would make medicine more affordable FOR EVERYONE. They said you could keep your doctor. Those are lies, factually false and intentionally so. The present puppet show called the Biden Administration repeatedly says the THEY (the administration) have created 10 million new jobs. Sometimes the say 7 million. No matter. Both are lies. We’re about 250,000 jobs above pre-Covid levels. The rest have been people returning to work after a one to two year vacation. The pathetic real growth that occurred, as was the case in the Barry O years, has occurred despite the damage done by the respective regimes.

The Regime tells you the Inflation Reduction Act was an inflation reduction act. [loud game show buzzer] OH! Another lie, thanks for playing. The crony boondoggle known as the IRA (retarded legislation, not the terrorist group) threw a few subsidies out their for some connected sectors. That is not an anti-inflationary action. It is the opposite. Paying for part of an end-user’s costs in a chosen sectors is not fighting inflation. The direct effect WILL BE more inflation.

The rest of the crony boondoggle was splashing trillions more dollars into the pockets of people who will pretend to fight climate change with the stupid machines discussed in the previous segment. They won’t work as advertised; not even close. I’ve demonstrated why before and will do so again later in this series. And the crony climate “fixers” will pocket the lion’s share of the money, your fucking money, for themselves.

So yeah, Inflation Reduction a lie too.

I’ll do one more whopper before moving on to the immigration lies.

In January of this year, son of a mobbed up Union boss, Richard Trumka, Jr. made a truth poopie. He said the Consumer Products Safety commission was considering banning gas stoves. Alarm bells went off everywhere. Brandon’s press bimbo read from her binder that there were no plans to ban gas stoves. Then New York banned natural gas (NG) stoves in any new construction or renovations.

Then Brandon’s goons banned a whole slew of new gas stoves. “But not all of them,” was their response to the charges of lying AGAIN. But they WILL eventually get rid of all gas stoves. By banning the ones most people can afford, they know they will see a massive decline in the use of the stoves as time goes by. This will lower demand on NG to an unserviceable level. When the demand sinks low enough, the valves are shut and no more gas goes to households. But they’re not banning ALL OF THEM! Don’t be silly!

I will leave aside the obtuse stupidity of the regime in not considering having multiple methods of cooking and heating in all neighborhoods when say, the lights go out for a long time. You’ll need wood stoves, natural gas, propane, electric from generators, whatever can be found and shared. And there will be many times in many places where the lights will go out for a very long time in the near future. I touched on that in a previous post Time is NOT Our Friend, and will say more on that later.

If you follow the White House Twitter feed, you will find that several times daily, they blast out another falsehood. And I’m not talking about Trump-y kinds of lies - mostly silly exaggerations. I’m talking about lies, that when believed, shift power. These daily lies, with five minutes of effort can be immediately debunked.

And you don’t have to go to FOX or Newsmax to do it. A search through AP or the New York times will usually do the trick. If you are the least aware of your world and STILL believe any of the above bullshit, you’ll buy the next one too.

So, why continue to be a sucker?

I demonstrated all those lies to ask why people believe the government on immigration.

After 2 years and more than 5 million known illegals strolling across our southern border from ALL OVER THE WORLD we continue to hear from Alejandro Mayorkas that the border “is not open.” He thinks he’s being slick with that line. Note he doesn’t say, “The border is closed.” He is stupid and elitist enough to think that YOU are stupid. You’ll think, well, it’s not open so the millions of illegals must not be the Regime’s fault. If you do, poofy Al is right. You are stupid.

Our southern border ceased to exist in all but name only in January of 2021. The only bottle neck was the theater of pretending to “process” the hordes streaming across and Title 42. The border now doesn’t even exist as a fig leaf. People hired to defend that border now serve as clerks and nursemaids to these ungrateful asylum scammers. Except for tiny holes being plugged by the Texas National Guard, there IS NO border. But Mayorkas still lies and says “the border is not open.”

Now there are people, even people reading this post right now who will defend the lie. Anyone who would do that is a liar themselves. Whether they are just lying to themselves or lying to all of us, they are still liars.

There is a very specific mistake we are making at the WORST possible time in our history. It isn’t that we are taking on immigrants. It’s that we are taking on the wrong kinds of immigrants. And no, douche, I don’t mean Hispanic when I say that.

Remember, the illegals we have violating our borders are not just from Latin American countries. They are from all over the world. They are using this route because they saw clearly that the Regime was cooperating with the cartels to import as many people and drugs as possible. We’ll get to the why later.

The hyper-bullshit now rears it’s ugly head.

Before we get to the fix, let me talk about the justification THE LIARS have used for years to let every prick looking for a pay raise cross the Rio Grand. It’s the the existing law.

I think some time this week I’ll knock over a bank or a liquor store. I have the perfect justification. The existing laws are broken. They don’t give me the things I want. So I must do as I please to get what I want. If you dare tell me I can’t or, heaven forbid, arrest me, you’re a racist. You’re backward. You don’t care about my rights.

Pro-illegal jagoffs want things too. A pay raise (illegals), cheap labor (government cronies), or blue votes (the Regime). They want these things and can’t get them under existing law. Therefore existing law is broken. Because they KNOW they don’t have the valid argument to actually change the law to allow for a border rush, they simply ignore existing law. As a bonus, the Regime kills more people with fentanyl every year than we lost in 11 years in Vietnam. Yes, the regime is actively facilitating the movement of drugs and people across our border illegally. OUR GOVERNMENT is KILLING AMERICANS - US by the trainload every week.

For the truly slow, the government is engaging in criminal activity. How much more stupid can we become before we go the way of Sri Lanka?

    So, why the immigration scam?

    The first answer is obvious.

We have a government that let’s people flock across the border unchecked (they simply refuse parole and are allowed to go anywhere they want) or checked (they accept parole and are given a court date years hence that they WILL NOT show up for). No one is stopped unless it’s a really slow day and they catch a few of the thousands of pieces of dogshit who are coming through with the hoards, terrorists, rapists, murderers, etc. Most of them stroll through unmolested as well.

We have a government that stands by while states allow illegals to vote. And they file suit against states that enact voter ID laws. They also keep pushing for fast track citizenship for every swinging dick that comes across.

How much more naked can it be? These are MILLONS of future democrats. I’m not saying Hispanics and Haitians and Chinese and Ukrainians are automatically Democrat. The educated ones, usually legal immigrants, are certainly NOT liberal. But of the millions flooding in, the only thing they know about America is one party gives them stuff! So they’ll vote to get more stuff. REAL immigrants are smart and mostly right wing. The illegal hoards are not. They don’t understand representative government as laid out in the Constitution. But then, neither does the average American citizen.

So, yeah. By adding an estimate 8 or 9 million KNOWN illegals to the mix WILL mean votes for the Donkey.

The second reason is a little more nuanced. It’s a shiny object to keep you from noticing boring stuff like declining crop yields, failing wind mills and solar cells, ChiComms CONTINUING to buy up America (while lining political pockets), the swing toward digital currency (in progress), the bug factory in Canada where you’ll be forced to get some of your protein through the manipulation of your digital currency, the destruction of the beef and pork industry.

When was the last news story you saw about how large wind farms effect the movement of surface winds? And oh, kill birds, lots and lots of birds - and big ones.

Finally, they are teeing up the intended racial, ethnic and economic unrest this human flood is primarily intended to foster. That will give them yet another excuse to gather more power, “because we just can’t have this unrest from the White Supremacists.” Mommy Government must take more control of the streets. Tah-Dah! The case for smart cities (high tech prisons).

The solution? Don’t participate. States and municipalities need to declare themselves the opposite of sanctuaries for illegals. No hiring of illegals. No selling homes to illegals. No renting to illegals. No Driver’s Licenses for Illegals. No school for illegals. If you want those things, go to New York or LA or Chicago, not Normalville.

  • As We Watch, the Stupid Unfolds Before Our Eyes.

If you give a hot damn about the future of this country you will aggressively share this ON YOUR EMAIL LIST and social media. Then when you got to the end, type “I’m in” in the comments. There is so much happening beneath the surface while these DC lunatics wreck what’s left of our economy that coming difficulties will turn into actual Mad Max shit in parts of the country.

If you’re in any way associated with farming, ranching or food processing, you will get slammed by all this. If you are early in your career you’re prospects at the hands of the DC whores would be laughable if they weren’t so tragic.

For more on this browse recent podcasts here and follow upcoming ones. They will make clear how business as usual in DC will destroy us. Share and tell your friends to do the same!

I refer often to the Biden administration. That’s a misnomer. Biden runs nothing. People like Obama, Jarrett and Rice run everything. Similarly, I refer to the United States. That is nearly as empty a phrase. The United States are a combined entity that only exists as defined and guided by the U.S. Constitution. That nation has been reduced to little more than a geographic location, nearly severed from it’s constitutional foundation. What is left of the Great Experiment is about to go away - if you let it.

As we witness the pathetic kabuki theater that is the debt ceiling “negotiation” ooze out of the sewer that is our central government, we should all be furious. FURIOUS!

State governments should be angrily threatening recall of Senators if they don’t cut more from the budget than the debt ceiling WOULD HAVE represented. Sadly, state governments are just a gaggle of people who know two things: 1 - They want to work there way into DC and get REAL power, fuck the stupid state. 2 - They don’t want to interrupt the flow of money from the Nanny State, for which they claim credit, resulting in money for them or their campaigns.

Municipal governments should be making the same threats against the House and Senate. But they are as addicted to the same cash flow and see themselves as the little intramural team in American politics. That’s because they don’t understand the Constitution or their proper place in the Republic.

Citizens should be in the streets pulling protests, ANGRY PROTESTS, that dwarf the French near-rebellion we are witnessing now. Unfortunately, the average citizen has a pile of excuses to not open their eyes and FIGHT BACK! There’s work, little league, Netflix, vacations… who has time to ward off the certain disaster this insane exercise portends? Let someone else do it. OR… You tell each other that nothing will ever change.

    Well, duh!

So, what the hell are they doing in DC?

    Good question. Thanks for asking.

What the Regime, including McCarthy and McConnell are doing is pretending to hammer out a deal so they can raise the debt ceiling…so we can keep paying our debts.

First, it should be said, the fix is in. The ceiling IS going to be raised. The theater is there to make you think they are actually doing anything constructive. I predict the cuts McCarthy is “fighting for” are, in fact, easy hurdles and won’t come anywhere near covering the amount of money we are about to borrow. Brandon’s puppeteers will toss the GOP some kind of bone that sounds big, but it will end up being around 1/100th of the damage the ceiling hike does.

And here’s the best part. These amoral idiots aren’t raising the ceiling to help their constituents. They are doing it so we can service (just pay the interest on) the $30 trillion in existing debt for the next couple of years. If they come up with more stupid ideas, like the Inflation Reduction Act or the Covid Relief Act, they’ll BORROW that too. They will also BORROW 60% of all the money they need, annually, to keep paying for all the government dogshit they shouldn’t even be involved with. 80% of those boondoggles just make those being “helped” weaker and the rest of us less wealthy.

Rank and file party members, or liberals and conservatives, are watching the kabuki theater play out. I see the social media feeds. Each side thinks they will benefit from a deal, or in the case of the Left, a clean debt ceiling bill. ALL are wrong - delusional. As in every case, when we carried out this unforgivably stupid exercise, THE ONLY outcome that will be a net plus for our stumbling, wasteful economy is to reduce spending to a point BELOW the need to raise the debt ceiling, then balancing the budget.

There are nowhere near enough honest statesmen in DC to even bring that to a committee vote. And none of the whores fear you. You should teach them to. You can do so right now and almost effortlessly be a part of the fight. Click on the button AFTER you share and subscribe.

    Photos below

Nick was kind enough to invite your questions about body building, power lifting and effective nutrition. Leave a question in the comments section or send questions to [email protected]. I will make sure he gets the questions. For example, I forgot to ask why power lifters now put their hands in opposite directions while lifting. In my youth, before electricity, the standard was both palms facing the body. The answer is added stability, less roll. Make sense.

Note: The two names I forgot at the 7:50 mark are Tina Fey and Monica Horan.

  • Time Is Not Our Friend!

I learned a new word today. I like to learn something new every day. So at least I don’t get all dressed up for nothin’.

The new word is Torschlusspanik. It is fear that time for action is running out. I assume the word’s roots are Germanic.

Everywhere I look fills me with torschlosspanik regarding the possibility of salvaging even a shadow of the American Experiment or even a civilized society.

I said two weeks ago that I would be working my way through a list of challenges that MUST ALL be met if we are to survive the coming demographic meltdown we face. Get them right and we come out the other end…well…okay. Get them wrong and we will make the ass pain of the meltdown infinitely worse.

I have a list of ten areas we need to focus on to buttress our nation and culture. I will touch on all of them in the coming weeks and months. Some are related and may be combined in podcasts. Others are a bit complex and need to stand alone, as was the case with the water lunacy in the American southwest. I spoke of that two weeks ago in a Podcast called To Get Water, “First, Kill All The Lawyers”. (No lawyers were harmed in the production of that podcast.)

I started the series with a regional water issue because, like all the other issues, it is critical for all of us. If we destroy productivity in the southwest, getting all the other things right won’t matter. The failure and needless suffering caused by it will be severe and multi-generational.

As an example of how issues may relate to each other, that water podcast also touches on the energy needs our country faces and the utter insanity of dotting the landscape with windmills as a solution. When I deal with energy specifically, I will likely bring forward podcasts dealing with the subject and add to them.

From whence springeth the panic (or panik)?

A damn good question. Thanks for asking.

If my year’s long assessment of America’s trends is correct, we’re already in trouble. Further, if Peter Zeihan’s warnings are valid, China is going to come unglued in about 3 years. In economic dog years, that’s about nine minutes from now. Across the board, and specifically in the areas this series will discuss, I see NO evidence that the United States is even remotely prepared for the event.

With China will go the concept we presently understand to be globalization. The Billy Bob’s, who think America should flip the rest of the world the middle finger anyway, have no idea what de-globalization even means.

So let me simplify the scenario to it’s most basic meaning. If it’s made of plastic and/or incorporates mid-level microchip technology, or has anything to do with medicine and the containers needed therein, you’re going to see a drastic shortage of it. If it carries your fat ass down the road on hydrocarbons or electrons, it will be very costly. If it carries large amounts of current on our energy grid, expect long, LONG blackouts waiting for replacement parts. If such conveniences and critical issues are the only things keeping our shockingly immature society from killing each other, we’re fucked. There are countless other ways to put it, and other areas of the economy and society to address. But that’s a good start.

    Let’s touch on economics.

Last week Susan Kelly Garrett and I discussed a number of quotes. Two stood out in terms of defining the dreadful state of American society. If you’ve been with me for a long time, you’ve heard me rail about this subject. In my WordPress days this would have come under the heading Pedestrian Economics.

"All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise not from defects in their Constitution or Confederation, nor from want of honor or virtue, so much as downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit, and circulation." John Adams

Today, the most blatant example of our ignorance of which Adams speaks is our mindless, sheepish acceptance of the Fed and government spending. Even worse, most people do not know that we already have a government digital currency about to go into circulation.

Let’s talk about the currency. It’s called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). To the few who are actually listening, it is being touted as an official version of Bitcoin. It is no such thing.

Bitcoin is a decentralized, user acquired vehicle of exchange. I opine that it’s not a very good one. But its use is voluntary. The CBDC is a centrally controlled, programmable, utterly fluid imitation of currency. Very soon after the proving out of the system, your use of it WILL NOT be voluntary. And once you’re on it, your lives will be utterly dominated by the Fed and the governing class. Everything you buy will be documented. If you have a low ESG score your digital currency will be throttled, limited or even shut down to force you into compliance. And private gun ownership will go the way of the Dodo. It will be handled by algorithms. How do you feel about AI now?

And yet, the majority of people who are reading this don’t know it’s coming. Now that you all know, a majority will shrug and not lift a finger to change it. I hope at least some will write a blast at your representatives, state and federal, and tell them they are, by no means, to implement this monstrosity.

So, how does this figure into a discussion of deglobalization and demographic decline? And here’s what to look for. This will be touted as a measure to “HELP” you through ever worsening social and economic conditions brought on by the coming collapse of norms.

It won’t be, of course. It will be the means by which you are controlled. The only beneficiaries will be the governing class and those who own them - that would be the Davos/WEF Cult. They will continue to have the very best of everything. You will be limited to how many articles of clothing you can buy, how often and how far you travel, and what you will drive. They will have NO SUCH restrictions in their lives. They will plan how many people can go to medical school, trade school or basic liberal arts colleges.

How do I know these things will happen?

It is as certain as gravity. When you put ambitious or corrupt people in a position to tip the scales in their favor or control others, they WILL! These people don’t care about you. If they have made it to DC, they care about getting more. The easiest way to do that is through the use of the controls this technology will give them. They will take absolutely every measure at their disposal to gain for themselves and keep you in your place. That’s not even a “maybe”. If we don’t stop CBDC everything I mentioned and a gagillion other things I haven’t even thought of will be foisted on you.

And here’s the best part. All this will exacerbate the very problems caused by the deglobalization and demographic decline that they will be claiming to be dealing with. Don’t believe me? Do you still believe the Inflation Reduction Act was about inflation reduction? If you do, go away. You’re beyond hope.

If you’re still here, there is hope for you. Let’s gradually broaden the economic aspects of our argument here.

    Government spending.

I don’t have to go too far into this. If you’ve gotten this far you already know there is too much of it and IT NEVER helps you, unless you are a powerful person in the special interest arena any particular government waste is touted to help with. The spending never works as advertised and only administrators of the waste pocket significant jing from the boondoggle.

    Nuff said.

From the Adams quote: “coin, credit, and circulation.”

As much as I despise fiat money, that’s money not backed by a real store of value, like gold…it’s a far cry better than the CBDC. Nobody, not even the government knows how much cash I have in my pocket on any given day. They also don’t know what I wish to buy and there is no way to control who I hand that cash to and for what. There is certainly no one who can instantly change the value of that cash in a keystroke to prevent or change the value of a single purchase. So even fiat cash is better then CBDC.

How that money moves most efficiently for the benefit of the buyer, seller and society as a whole is through an unencumbered exchange of value. I want that candy bar more than I want this dollar. The seller wants my dollar more than he wants the candy bar. For him, the candy bar was an investment he’s about to benefit from. For me, it is a consumable that will provide me with the enjoyment I seek. In making the exchange we have contributed to the churning of wealth that keeps an economy healthy. Everyone involved, the store, the employees, the delivery guy, the candy factory, the wrapper maker and all the suppliers to the process have benefited.

Now multiply that by all the purchases made everyday of EVERYTHING, and you have a healthy economy. That is economics. This too is as certain as gravity. The basic laws never change.

It is when the government intrudes on the exchange in any way other than perhaps the prevention of fraud, that the exchange becomes less healthy and less productive. Uninvited parties not part of the exchange become beneficiaries of the exchange at a cost to me or the seller - more likely me.

People think what the government does to taxes, intentional inflation, lending laws, printing money, regulating merchants and manufacturers, etc, are the practice of economics. They are NOT! Those activities are acts of economic manipulation that ALWAYS run ATHWART the laws of economics.

Sometimes these things are necessary. Creating temporary social safety nets for citizens leaps to mind. TEMPORARY! We’ve tasked the government legitimately with defense, foreign relations and interstate trade. These cost money. But all these things, along with the innumerable actions government takes illegitimately, defy the laws of economics the way a glider defies the laws of gravity. But in the glider’s case the pilot is exploiting other physical laws. In the case of governments and dodgy corporations the actions are taken with only the support of a random desire.

And you can’t do any of it without risking disaster. You certainly cannot stay 3,000 feet in the air for an infinite amount of time. And you can’t tax, spend, borrow, print money and interfere with REAL economics without causing a crash, as certain as a glider running out of momentum versus air.

In other words, if you look at the crashes and panics dating back to 1780 in this country, you’ll find that each panic/crash had its genesis in the actions taken by government, seen as acts of “economics”, trying to fix the previous panic/crash. Sometimes they just double down on what caused the previous crash, as they’ve been doing since 2008. That bill is coming due, and right soon.

Similarly, a constant state of inflation is ONLY created by a central government and no other force. Natural inflation (ya know, real economic reality) only effects sectors and markets based on the scarcity or availability of goods and services in those sectors and markets.

Constant artificial inflation and market “fixes” are all akin to trying to fly a glider infinitely with no expectation of consequence. The present regime is trying to do that with an elephant strapped to the glider.

Then the cronies make it all worse.

"When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes… Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain."

    Napoleon Bonaparte

There is no greater scoundrel, in the world of economics, than the government crony. And our country is now swimming in them. Our legislators no longer write the laws they pass. If a law involves more than a pittance of money, it is written by a private company or a union or some other leech. Lawmakers now vote them up or down without even reading them. And there is no greater crony than the Federal Reserve.

I could go on for days on this subject.

To be certain, Napolean was thinking about the Rothschilds when he wrote the words in the quote above. And his assessment of the most powerful cronies is 100% true, right through to today. They do not think of country and borders and national identity like you or I do, if they even consider them at all.

The Rothschilds didn’t. The father would be in France financing French armies while the son was in England financing the British. Meanwhile an uncle would be in another country financing those who would take advantage of the unrest between the French and the Brits.

For people like the Clintons, Soros, Klaus Schwab, Al Gore, the Bidens, Mitch McConnell, Bill Gates, the Obamas, Valerie Jarett and any other creature of the Davos Cult, borders and tradition and patriotism are illusions maintained for the Great Unwashed. It’s a handy concept to keep you pliable and usable. Corporations are the same. Their loyalties lie with the dollar. International Corporations are supposed to be that way. In people, it’s perverse.

That such creatures lack a motherland has been exacerbated by post war globalization. The radical control they now seek is intended to protect them and their wealth and comfort.

The Davos Cult wants to create a new kind of globalism, not based on voluntary trade and free markets, but one based on THEIR needs and desires. They have planted their drones in corporate board rooms throughout the world, especially in the West. As their ESG, digital currencies and their concepts of total control take root through business and governments they will gain more and more power.

As we said, borders will just be an illusion. You will be told you still live in a representative republic. But you already don’t. You, the citizen of the United States, already live in a top-down, authoritarian state. Laws don’t originate in the legislature. They originate in board rooms and in offices of opportunists, tarted up to be social crusaders and “non-profits”. They write the laws. The most powerful in your central government then negotiate the finer points for THEIR OWN gains, and the rest of the legislature is told to vote up or down. Reliable holdouts like Murkowski or Manchin are good at picking up the crumbs and make a good show of looking democratic.

Further, laws are not written with the good of the productive citizen in mind. That WOULD be a good republican concept. They are now being written to wall off or even eliminate the concept of a productive, engaged citizen. The entire thrust of American governance is about collecting more and more centralized power. What do you think ESG is? Why is the President of the United States now being pranced out to disparage working, productive citizens with such nakedly hateful venom? Why is violence by the collective being tolerated - winked at - while you are being warned of a fantasy, right-wing, white supremacy threat to democracy?

The answer is - you are being played. You are being conned. And it’s working. Our colleges are infested with angry, young, indoctrinated freaks who now go batshit crazy at the first mention of anything that doesn’t conform with the Borg/central government’s propaganda. Racism, which for decades remained only in the fantasies of the Billy Bob’s and the Al Sharptons of the world, is now a problem again - because the people I speak of here WANT IT TO BE A PROBLEM. THEY NEED IT TO BE A PROBLEM. It keeps them in business, gives them more illusions and shiny objects with which they distract you.

We’ll get beck to the money presently. But in furtherance of their goals, the Davos/WEF power freaks need multiple victim classes to keep us fighting among ourselves, while otherwise being good, obedient little proles when it comes to their governance.

And all this is brought to you by Modern Monetary Theory!

Back to the money. Whatever your currency, backed by value or fiat, when handled with sober responsibility it is still a viable exchange of value. Money is a concept invented to keep us from killing each other and creating order out of chaos. And it works among honest people. Even fiat money works…until it doesn’t.

When you create a situation where people can wreck a system for their own gain, some people absolutely will. By taking us off the gold standard the ruling class quickly learned that there was no problem they couldn't tamp down by cranking up the printing presses.

Of course we’ll have periods of high inflation. But if you are the guy gaming the system, you can still live large. They don’t care about citizens! They don’t care about YOU!

By creating this moral hazard of funny money, we put the powerful in a position to print all the money THEY WANT by devaluing the money YOU HAVE. They make the hundreds or thousands you live on less valuable while keeping themselves, and the officials they own and the “non-profits” who do their grunt work, awash in BILLIONS. That’s not how a healthy free market, in a healthy free society works. That’s cronyism.

This cronyism hit new highs with our demographic peak around 2019. But as populations and global trade decline, you will see these creatures kick their cronyism into high gear. At a time when we need to grease the wheels of free markets everywhere to keep what we can of the system we built, these creatures will inflate currency and try to centrally plan everything with an eye toward gaining more wealth and power.

And the concept announced in academia a few years ago will be their weapon of choice. Modern Monetary Theory (MMT). This is the laughably mindless assertion that you can print, borrow and spend all the money you want and it won’t do any damage.

Certainly, it won’t hurt the governing class. They always move money and investments, and create exemptions and carve-outs in ways that protect them from their own laws and executive over-reach.

But the creation of currency and mindless spending can only NOT hurt every citizen if the value of EVERYTHING is dictated by the government creating the funny money. Perhaps that will be the aim of CBDC. They will decide the value of what you buy by manipulating the digits. But that would make the Regime even more Stalinist than they are now. Piss off the wrong bureaucrat or insult the wrong protected class and your auto parts will become untenably expensive, or you’ll find your purchasing power cut in half. Because it CAN be done, IT WILL BE DONE.

C’mon, you’re not going to say, “Oh, they would never do that!” Yeah, right. Pull the other one, it plays jingle bells.

MMT is the economics of choice for the Davos Cult and their members throughout out our dysfunctional government. It will be the tool by which they carry out all the policies I’ve detailed before, and they have stated explicitly; limited travel, limited food supplies, limited clothing purchases, limited energy consumption, limited electronic purchases. All these limitations will be on YOU, certainly not THEM! Mark my word. You heard it here first.

One of the first dominoes to fall will be car and truck purchases. By a date certain, dictated by the Cult, the government WILL cut off any digital purchases for even used vehicles. If it isn’t a coal powered car, you won’t be permitted to buy it. Leave aside by that time we will have seen all the flaws in the EV tinker toys and have no fix for them. It will be EV all the way.

All the while, they will be building an ever more worthless dystopia FOR YOU to live in, while they continue to enjoy the best of everything.

    Have you read Animal Farm?

Make Orwell’s short work the first book recommendation in this podcast. The evolution, man to pig, it complete. The Davos Cult are the final manifestation. They are the new pigs without doubt. I'll leave a button at the end of the text.

The UK Library defines the book as a commentary on Soviet Communism. It was not. Neither was 1984. Both were cautionary tales warning the West that it was slowly creeping toward the same sick existence.

And how will the final slide to totalitarianism, we’ve been moving toward since FDR, be completed? Using ESG and MMT. If you let these things go any further than they’ve gone so far, you will render yourself powerless against the Cult/Governing Class.

ESG is an abuse the government saddles us with. If you don’t know, the acronym stands for Environmental, Social and Governance as described by the ruling class. If your carbon footprint is too big, that’s points against. If you don’t have your employees putting their stupid preferred pronouns on their business cards, that’s a no-no. If your board isn’t made up of the government-prescribed racial/gender (fluid)/idiot mix, you get dinged for that to. And the rating system is already in place. Banks who benefit in the hundreds of billions in tax dollars already consider ESG in loaning money to companies based on their rating. It’s a bullshit protection racket.

There is no value-added here. In fact, all areas where ESG is imposed suffer a direct loss of value without exception. BUT, they now have EFT’s (investment instruments) you can use to buy stock in companies who make money helping other companies COMPLY with the protection racket. That scam centers on getting you to BUY INTO the scam. And don’t worry, Mommy Government will always manage for you to see a return.

Meanwhile, the Fed, at a time when fiscal responsibility is the most critical it has ever been, is printing money, creating a bullshit digital currency, and your government is borrowing and spending that money. All of it is being done to fill the crony trough. There is NO HOPE of EVER seeing a return on this money. And it is all being done under the aegis of MMT.

So there’s your economic cesspool in one essay. And it is occurring when we face the unraveling of the system that has been in place since WWII. That system is on life support. The government and the crony class are the new pigs who will stand in the way of this country getting through the demographic melt-down in a reasonable way.

There are countless other details behind all this, of course. For more browse this Substack all the way back to 2013.

If you want to fight back, go to the Energy Revolt. I’ll leave a bunch of buttons for that at the end of the text.

The second book recommendation will be Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlette. I wish I had the authority to mandate it. The PDF is free. There will be a button for that as well, also not a paid link. Again, it is an easy read and will give you a better understanding of how the world works than a university econ class. Remember, they preach the Ivory Tower manipulation of sound economics - NOT real economics.

Understand these two books and you will understand what is coming. Research the international demographic decline and you will then understand how the people I have lambasted will only aggravate the pain and suffering the decline will bring upon us. And if you don’t have a foreboding sense of torschlosspanik by now, you have a comprehension problem.

A sound free market will pull us through the meltdown in better shape than the rest of the world. A centrally planned economy will destroy what we have left to survive as a free and civilized society.

Doubt me not! And read the books!
