Wes Chen has worn many hats! He worked for Volleyball Canada as the Athlete Pathways and Youth/Junior National Team Coordinator as well as being on staff to plan and execute special events. He completed his master’s degree specializing in sport-related brain trauma with the Neurotrauma Impact Science Laboratory at the University of Ottawa. Where he then worked with VC to create their concussion protocol. As an athlete Wes played for Glashan a legendary school in Ottawa and went on to play for Glebe where he won an OFSAA Championship. The Championships didn't end there, Wes was on staff at Queens University where he helped the squad win 2 OUA Championships.

Gabe Burlacu returns to the show! Gabe has represented Canada at Youth World Championships, FISU Games, Norceca, FIVB World Tour, and King of the Court. Angie Akers has done it all! From a great career in the NCAA with Notre Dame, to pro indoor, she then transferred to the beach where she developed into a top player on the AVP and FIVB World Tour. Angie then started her coaching career with the Netherlands before coaching the "A" Team April and Alix who won Gold in Tokyo. Angie is now an assistant coach with LMU. We hear about her amazing journey and so much more!
