Shanda discusses how the Jackalope, a half rabbit half antelope creature, was created by taxidermist Douglas Herrick and his brother in 1932, which helped make their town of Douglas, Wyoming a tourist attraction, and evolved in a folklore that traveled around the world. Shanda talks about murderess Belle Gunness who lured men to her La Porte, Indiana farm from 1884 to 1908, possibly faked her death by setting her house on fire, and is responsible for 14 confirmed murders.
