Diego has won a place in Perth. Newspapers, TV and radio shows name him every week. He is a star in Perth Glory soccer team. Since he arrived the "Purple T-Shirt" has him as a scorer. Kids love him and follow his performance.

We will have the opportunity to know more about this Spanish soccer player, how his dad influenced on him to follow football career and his opinion about our beautiful Perth.

 

This young and passionate Australian Actor will be sharing with us his experiences as an actor in Los Angeles, USA. He knew that he wanted to be at the stage during his days as a kid.

Zac’s parents had a Mexican restaurant so he grew up surrounded by Latin flavours and rhythms. After his years in Melbourne studding acting he decided to move to Los Angeles.

Back in Perth he will be delighting us with his stand-up comedy "Te La Novela" which is a funny summary of his experience in LA and his love for the Latin culture. You will find him at the Downstairs of the Majesty Theatre with the Ace’s Cabaret from next Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th of February. Don’t miss out!

Constanza Herrero is an Australian/Chilean singer and songwriter. With experience in the music and television industries, Constanza began her career in Chile at a very young age, after launching her original compositions EP ‘Actúa hoy’ in 2007 under the artistic name ‘Kota’, which led her to become part of the MTV Latin Music Award winning teen pop band ‘Six Pack’. Constanza debuted in the band singing at the prestigious Latin American Festival ‘Viña del Mar International Song Festival’ in 2008. In that same year she earned the role of Antagonist in the TV Series ‘Karkú’ which was broadcast by Nickelodeon (Latin America) and also recorded the music album 'Up'.

After finishing high school, Constanza settled in Australia where she studied at the prestigious ‘Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts’ (WAAPA), obtaining a Certificate in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Stream). Constanza is currently in Perth (Australia) writing new songs for her next album.

Nick is the son of Italian immigrants, has a great connection with the sea and therefore everything related to it, is his passion.

Although it has been linked to electronics in professional terms and today is the Business Manager of Global Communication Services, a communications company focused on the mining area, are his wife, daughters, granddaughter and of course the ocean what move him. Therefore it is easy to see him on weekends and even after work at Mullaloo Surf Club (http://www.mullaloosurf.com.au/) where he serves as Patrol Captain.

Through Nick we will know what it means to be part of this iconic organization of WA beaches, which annually saves many lives, as well as through their activities and courses allows us to enjoy the sea safely also keeping us full in shape.

This Tuesday Passion Fruit on Air will have at the studio Andrew Ross an international business man, family and surfing lover. Cause his dream we will be soon surfing in Perth the 365 days of the year in perfect waves.

Andrew is the Executive Chairman and founder of Wave Park Group, a private company which has acquired the exclusive rights to develop Wavegarden® in Australia. In a few more months Sydney and Melbourne will be launching their parks and here in Perth during 2019.

The City of Melville will host this incredible project; just imagine surfing in perfect waves in 15 minutes after work or uni. It sounds so good!

It is difficult to meet someone more passionate about his job than Marcelo Borlando.

Owner of a great creativity and entrepreneurial spirit he has developed promotional campaigns for big companies such as Nestle, Procter & Gamble, Cerveza Cristal and many others in diverse countries such as Chile, Peru, Mexico, US and Spain.

During 2001 he was asked to help a Brazilian dancing band which with his help and his team turned in a phenomenon in Latin America. After all of that experience and lessons learned he develop model: Idol Brands where clients are fans and brands idols. He took it and  went to Miami to offer it to Zumba, when it was just starting as a dancing workout. From then he has been advising brands and introducing his marketing model to diverse markets throughout books, seminars and conferences.

Ana Parada, a Chilean author will be in Passion Fruit on Air telling us about her novels and new projects for 2017.

Her first book was "Me Enamore de un Casanova" (I felt in love with a Casanova) which is a love story that exposed beautifully some Chilean traditions, especially from Talca. We will have soon the English version of "Amor Dulce Amargo" (Bittersweet Love), her second novel which mix interesting subjects such as immigration, power, love and crime.

Her writing is so easy to read and we can say sticky... when you start one you don't want to stop until finish it.

In Passion Fruit on Air will have Tom Vincent, Film Program Manager of the Lotterywest Festival Film (https://perthfestival.com.au/lotterywest-festival-films/) which is running from Mon 28 Nov 2016–Sun 16 Apr in two great locations: ECU Joondalup Pines and UWA Somerville. Two of their movies are in Spanish: "Julieta", directed by Almodovar and "Neruda", directed by Pablo Larrain.

Tom is a skilled film and event programmer with an outstanding knowledge of British and Australian cinema exhibition markets. He has programmed films at the Institute of Contemporary Arts and Leeds International Film Festival. Prior to joining PIAF, Tom was Film Programme Manager at the National Media Museum in Bradford, where he programmed cultural cinema on three screens year round.

We wanted to know, from the first source, what it means to receive the call of God and to dedicate the entire life to being a missionary of His Word.

We invited Father Manoel to tell us his experience and how it was his decision to become a priest.

He is living in Perth for more than 16 years, however his passport is full of entrances and exits to different countries. Some stamps show long stays, for example in China from where he loves their food and has incredible anecdotes.
