"The Beatles: Eight Days a Weeks - The Touring Years" is our inspiration for our show. We will talk about the music documentary directed by the World Premiere of Academy Award® winner Ron Howard’s. Based on the first years of the legendary band from Liverpool which changed the music for ever.

We have special guests: Mario Olguin, Master in Mathematics and engineer who left everything to lead his band, Beatlemania, the best Chilean band that plays The Beatles. For more than 27 years they have been playing on the best Latin American stages, including Viña del Mar. Mario organizes as well tour to England where they visit The Beatles' places. In one of that trips, with his band, he played at The Cavern Club... a dream come true.

Dave Swan drummer of The Australian Beatles will be in Passion Fruit on Air as well. We will know his stories around The Beatles and how he turned in the Ambassador of the Liverpool’s Famous Beatles Story Museum. With his band Dave has been playing their tribute to The Beatles through in Australia and Asia, including Japan.

In summary, and extraordinary show with the best of all times: "The Beatles".

 

Even that we are doing our interview by phone our studio will be infected with love and romance, because our guest is a great Chilean singer Cristian Natalino from the Chilean band Trio Natalino that is completed  by Hugo y Eduardo Manzi.

They have been at the stage of Vina del Mar and on the most prestigious stages of Latin America.

“Desde que te vi” was their first disc . With it they won double gold album and double platinum album. A lot of stories, travels, music they have had since that album from 2008. So we will know about those stories during this program. For sure we will be inspired by them.

She was four when she decided to be a writer, even though for forty six years her focus was on other activities.

It was in 2010 when she started writing in the speculative thriller genre horror, science fiction, thriller psychopath, mystery… she loves Stephen King’s style. Since then, she has published several novels including conceiving and co-project managing the Amazon #1 best-selling anthology “From the Indie Side”.

Susan is also book and film reviewer and interviewer for US Suspense Magazine as well as other popular Australian and International sites.

Susan in herself is an inspiration. Her passion about writing and her talent should be a reference for all of us who want to follow the passion of our life.

Emma started cycling in 2011 to lose weight and get fit. She was surprised to discover that she enjoyed the thinking time and the feeling of moving forwards that cycling gave her. Within a year, what started as commuting on an old bike had become cycling with a group on a road bike. Over the next few years, Emma progressed from recreational road cycling events (such as the Dams Challenge) to time trialling and road racing in Perth and then two events in Europe. She also started mountain biking, completing the 4-day Cape to Cape event in the Margaret River region, and riding self-supported from Perth to Nannup in several single and multi-day trips on the Munda Biddi.

Emma enjoys developing her skills and knowledge and is passionate about helping others to achieve their goals. She applied this passion when she started coaching cyclists in mid-2014. Since then, Emma has started her own business, Fusion Cycle Coaching. The vision for her company is "preparing you for wherever your cycling journey goes". She is relishing the opportunity to implement her ideas and tailor her services to suit her client's needs. Her business is an outlet where Emma can combine her passions for cycling, data analysis and creativity.

Isobel Wilkins and Riley Morrell are what the world now calls “foodies”. People who go out for food and take photos of it. At first it was just a fun thing to do. Now with over 8,200 followers on their Instagram page “Goodfoodofperth” people of Perth are now turning to them to find out where the good food of Perth really is.

Their hobby has now turned into a much more serious page going out 4-5 times a week to maintain a constant feed of photos to put on their page Izzy and Riley pride themselves on being honest with reviews and love eating a whole range of cuisines for breakfast lunch and dinner and are always looking to try new things!

Cecilia D’Amico is an Argentinean business woman full of skills and energy. After some years working in different companies, she realised that her real passion was the fitness industry. For that reason she decided to become personal trainer (PT) since her arrival to Perth, three years ago.

“I’m truly passionate about helping people become fitter and healthier – I love being a trainer and the most rewarding part of my job is seeing my clients achieve their goals”, Cecilia says.

At the gym -where she trains- she discovered the Bodybuilding discipline. She was invited to participate in the Figure Division Competition where she obtained the second place, last November. “That changed not only my body but also my mind in an incredible way”.

In this moment she is training to compete in a higher division. Looking for good results she is under a strict diet and a strong routine of exercises.

Talk to her is motivational. In Passion Fruit on Air we would like to ask her all her tips to be constant and focused on our goals when we decide to start working in a healthy life style.

This program will be all about our favorite friends: Dogs

We will have Margie Bradly, dog lover and Sponsorship Manager of the Guide Dogs WA at the studio where she will share with us her passion about dogs and her experience at this amazing organization.

Margie has had dogs all her life and for 18 years helped other people train their dogs in obedience and agility.  She has competed with her Australian Cattle Dogs in obedience trials but particularly enjoyed agility and trialled at both state and national levels, representing WA in the state agility team in 2004.

Margie joined Guide Dogs WA in 2010 and is always surrounded by dogs in her work, especially as she is the carer for one of Guide Dog WA’s Public Relations dog, Luna.  Luna proudly represents Guide Dogs at both corporate and community events and when not on duty, happily lies on her bed beside Margie’s desk - basking in the sun in the afternoon.

Margie’s role involves finding sponsors to fund each Guide Dog puppy as it joins the program.  At $35,000 per puppy, she is totally reliant on the community to fund this unique program.  Currently there are over 40 pups in training.

 

Hernan is a Chilean architect, passionate father and photographer. He combines his passions travelling throughout of Chile with his three kids. On Facebook – Las Bitacoras del Papitan- it is   possible to follow their adventures and be delighted by his wonderful pictures.

Rob Cole is a passionate surfer and musician who lives in Doubleview. He loves various genres of music and couldn’t think of a better way to spend a week than on a boat in the Maldives surfing or skiing in Japan. Some of his favourite musicians are from the surfer/musician fold and include people like Donavan Frankenrieter and Jack Johnson. When he’s not indulging in his passions, Rob an engineer by background works in property development delivering some of Perth’s best land estates in the Swan Valley.
