Prayer is one of the main bases of Christian living, and in our churches, we speak of the importance of persevering in prayer. Yet sometimes God himself wants us to put an end to some of our prayers.

When we pray, God listens to us: the Bible confirms it in 1 John 5:14. But did you realize that God listens to much more than just our prayers?

Lorsque nous prions dans sa volonté, Dieu nous écoute : la Bible le confirme dans 1 Jean 5.14. Mais avez-vous réalisé que Dieu n’écoute pas seulement nos prières?

La Parole de Dieu est remplie d’exemples d’interventions divines. Tout cela pour nous démontrer que Dieu écoute ses enfants et Il répond. Et son amour pour nous n’a pas changé. Nous pouvons donc lui faire confiance et le suivre en toutes choses.

The Word of God is filled with examples of divine intervention. All this shows us that God listens to His children, and He answers. His love for us has not changed. We can trust Him and follow Him in all things.

When a person is not certain of their decision, their friends will often say “just follow your heart”, suggesting that deep down, they know what the right thing to do is. But does God agree with that?
