With all the bizarre, shocking and disappointing things happening in our culture, we must never lose sight of our God given calling and responsibility to shine as lights in a darkened world. In this sermon, the concept of God allowing futility to exist is explained for the purpose of causing many to see their need for a Savior. Therefore, we must transition from simply whining - about the saddening condition of our nation - to actually doing something about it for those in need; which will ultimately result in our fulfilling Christ's commissioning.

While some may think they have all the answers to questions about suffering, life has a way of proving otherwise. In this sermon is a strategy for handling those well meaning folks who might unfairly criticize you while you are hurting for any reason.

From the pages of the Book of Job, more truth is declared concerning how to help someone who is wrestling with hopelessness; as well as the need to realize that none of know it all.
