The gospel of Christ (which starts with and includes the cross) is the power of God.   

In this message, we look at the significance of the first 3 verses from Isaiah 53.  

Without the cross we are hopeless, with the cross we have full confidence, without the cross, we are helpless, with the cross we have all strength, without the cross we are lost, with the cross we are placed in the family of God, without the cross we are bound for eternal damnation, with the cross we have an eternal place in heaven, without the cross we are sinners, with the cross we are new creations.  

THE ARM OF THE LORD is a picture of His strength, power, and might.  Jesus is the Arm of God.

The Gospel is based not on emotions, a set of opinions, not a system of ideas, or moral principles.  The facts of the gospel found in 1 Corinthians 15 are: Christ died for our sins.  Christ was buried.  Christ rose again on the third day.

The question is how do we know it’s true?  Paul, in this passage from Corinthians, outlines three sources of confirmation or proof.
