Overcoming addictions to pornography

Are you addicted to sex, Pornography or masturbation? This is for you; God is not angry at you?.....

God has already forgiven you... He is not mad at you, he's only grieved by the long term disaster it might cause you, amongst which are;

1, an inability to be bold when you approach his presence, or talk about him.

2, an inability to lead a morally pure relationship that will lead to marriage

3, an inability to stay faithful to your wife/huband in the future.

4, an inability to Love the opposite sex genuinely without lusting.

5, an Inability to channel all your energy towards fulfilling purpose

I must say that this urge you feel is natural and will not force you into sin except you fuel it with lustful informations and thoughts.... If you fight the act you'd keep losing, you should rather fight the thoughts, information and ideas that suggest Lust.* that's how to win over immorality "Don't just Fight the act, Fight the thought"

To Break out of this shakels take the following steps;

1, Tighten up your daily routines

2, Loose touch with all those who intized or are an accomplice to your mistake.

3, fast at least trice in a week ( especially when the urge is trying to build )

4, stay clear from materials and informations that are sexually suggesting.

5, Get actively involved with Church and it's activities, so much that you always come back exhausted.

Give no place to Satan; hear this if you don't properly channel your sleep, eating, and work periods, e t. c towards fulfilling a worthy God designed purpose, you'd end up leasing this treasure to Satan.... And trust me he'd maximize that "space" you leased him.

2. Get into a right relationship with God so he can help you

The Significance of Jesus’ Wounds

1. Stripes on His Back

Then Pilate took Jesus and flogged him. (John 19:1, ESV)

In an effort to appease the people, Pilate ordered the lictor (a trained expert in the art of torture) to whip Jesus, a punishment for criminals. This was done so that scripture might be fulfilled (see Isa. 53:5, Isa. 50:6). Even Jesus predicted this in Matthew 20:19. This is a physical representation of the spiritual act of propitiation, that is, Jesus took our place. Just as the blood was sprinkled on the altar in Exodus 29:15-16, Jesus blood was sprinkled each time the whip dug into His flesh.

The entire message of the bible is Salvation

Soteria; to deliver and preserve

Sotia; saviour

For Salvation to happen there must be a saviour

Salvation is to be delivered from sin, rescued from sin and kept in a place where there's no sin

Where did sin come from

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Esikomai=Entered

Sin came by man and passed upon all men

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

And = kai = also meaning to sin is to fall short of Gods glory

"And" means "Also"

Salvation is not deliverance from healing, or poverty, it is deliverance from sin

Salvation is a common solution for a common problem (sin) that affects all mankind

Jesus mission statement:

Satan always attacks the integrity of Gods word to produce unbelief, and therefore sin ( this he did with eve in the garden of Eden)

It takes believe to be saved and unbelief to perish; a good example were the children of Israel in the wilderness who died because of unbelief

(1) A physical deliverance - rescue from danger deliverance, preservation, safety. For example the writer of Hebrews records that...

3 kinds of will.

What is a will?

It's a legal document containing instructions as to what should be done with one's money and property after one's death.

1.Acceptable will of God; it's the survival mode of the believer. It's a mode where the believer is trying to suffer stuffer and go to haven. Survival mode

2. Good will of God; it's a state where you are doing well for you your self and everything is all about you. It's call the sustainace mode.

3.Perfect will of God; This is the dominion mode. The perfect will of God is seek you first the will of God. Where you no longer live just for yourself.

Devine alignment another word for it is call partnership with God.

Meaning of Alignment;

1. arrangement in a straight line or in correct relative positions.

"the tiles had slipped out of alignment"

2. a position of agreement or alliance.

Where you are going to a place youve never being before and you are using a Google Map. You have to choice than obey the map. If there is a diversion ahead, the map will direct you.

Some times when you use a map, there are certain road that you are use to most especially in Lagos. Maybe you know that that same road you are sure you pasted there yesterday. But the map is trying to redirect you. You end up going your usual way and after you got there you noticed the road is block . You have to finally spend Extra 2hours to follow a different road because you were not in alignment .

Some believers live are like that.....

They end up doing try and error

Meanwhile there is a way of alignment that came make your journey productive.

What matters is that you make progress.

God is not interested in the to many things you do but what he has asked you to do

So if we do to many things in this church but not what He has asked use we are not working in his perfect will.

When you are aligned, what's the produce of it

1.God gain control over you.( Compass)

Imagine you are a sailor with out compass. You will be so confused and at the middle of the oceans you might end up in Europe instead of Lagos.
