Pastor Jason Anderson

How did God love the world? He didn't condemn the world or smite the world, or punish the world. He didn't point out the sins of the world. He LOVED the world. We all want to stamp out the evil in this world, but how we fight might be doing more harm than good. Why are we trying to instruct the world in morality and hold them to our moral standard before they know Jesus?

"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." (2 Peter 1:3 NIV)

You can do big things; you can do more than you think. You can reach the stars, dream the big dreams, climb the mountain, defeat the giant, and take the land God has given you. You've heard the phrase, "bit off more than you can chew"? Our Lord Jesus has called us to bite off more than we can chew.

"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." (Romans 8:37 NKJV)

Yet, she was a very real person, and even though she had a past and a current situation that wasn't good, all that changed with just one encounter with Jesus.

These were some of the final words from Jesus to his disciples, merely hours before He went to the Cross. It was the last time He would speak to them in human form, and He knew it was essential for them to rely entirely on Holy Spirit after He left.

The still small voice of the Holy Spirit can lead you through every day right into your best life. It can route you around potholes and unnecessary frustrations or delays. It can run you into people in need, divine connections, and destiny appointments. But when we don't know that voice, or things are just too noisy, we can miss God. When you miss God, you miss out on the things of God.

"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." (John 3:8 NIV)
