God assures us of His constant presence, yet this is mostly not our conscious experience. We often feel that He is distant. In that state of perceived lack and emptiness, we strive to find fulfillment on our own terms, only to end up overwhelmed by anxiety and fear. But through prayer, we can gain a deep awareness of God's presence and unfailing providence, and begin to walk in the reality of our inheritance.

The Lord promises that in Him we shall be abundantly satisfied. What if the key to overcoming fear, temptation, and inner struggles is not in fighting harder but in surrendering more deeply to God? 

In this message, Pastor Jeffrey Walter, through a Q&A session, explains how to approach the scriptures using Joel 3:10 as an example. He emphasizes refraining from giving ourselves to our own understanding and instead urges that we surrender to God's light. Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains how to observe both negative and positive emotions (rooted in worldly success) without engaging or identifying with them, but rather surrender all situations (both good and bad) to the will of God. He emphasizes how God’s power in situations can only be seen when we come to the place of full surrender. He also highlights Jesus Christ as the perfect example of the kind of life that every man must live—a life of humility and complete submission to the Father’s will, which is then followed by glorification.

God has given us free will—the ability to choose what to desire, believe and pursue. Yet, this freedom often creates the illusion that we are independent of God, leading us on the futile journey of pursuing self-determined good while neglecting the pursuit of His perfect Will for our lives. 

In this message titled “God Is God Alone,” Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains the true purpose of free will and the need to surrender to God’s Will and Wisdom. He explores the sovereignty, immutability, and perfection of God’s Will and Wisdom, emphasising the need to accept that God will always do His Will. He cautions against the self-sabotaging pursuit of desires contrary to God’s Will (kicking against the prick) and shows how believers can practically surrender and align with His divine purpose. Though surrender may agitate the flesh, he urges believers to yield to God and embrace the peace found in pursuing His perfect Will.

Man naturally tends to pursue his own will rather than God’s will, and in doing so, seeks to become his own god. This results in fear, anxiety, and the constant expectation of negative outcomes. Yet, the Scriptures reveal a path to true freedom and peace.

In this message, “Why We Predict Negative Outcomes”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains the spiritual meaning of carrying one’s cross. He demonstrates that fear and negative thinking arise from the desire to control life according to our own desires. He teaches that true peace is found not in fulfilling personal ambitions, but in surrendering self-will and trusting in God. The journey of faith is rarely a smooth path. There are times we struggle to yield to the Word of God, which is sent to lead us into our promised inheritance. When we resist the Word, we find ourselves in a dry and spiritually parched place: the wilderness. But what is the point of the wilderness in our faith journey? Why does God allow us to go through it? 

In this “Communion Service” , Pastor Jeffery Walter teaches on the purpose of the wilderness in a believer’s walk with God. He explains the root cause of the agitations and bitterness experienced in the wilderness, and why the Word of God seems to lose its initial potency in this season. He further reveals how God uses the wilderness to break the self-reliance and ego of the flesh, emphasising that absolute surrender is the only way to obtain true peace and spiritual authority.
