We live in a world that likes to condemn one another. We don’t call what we do condemnation as we look at our world, but we will look at it in judgment. This judgment stems from an attitude of condemnation. This did not come from Jesus, as He did not come to condemn. He came to free and restore people back to God.

Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so Jesus said he must be lifted up as well. The reason Moses lifted up the serpent was the people who belonged to God were snake bit. We also are snake bit, with the sting of the serpent’s bite of sin. Because of this bite, we have a mind that is bent on sin and not on Jesus.

Jesus tells Nicodemus the Holy Spirit is what a person must be born of just like they were born of the flesh. Just like Nicodemus, we also miss the point Jesus is making here. The sermon will help you understand what we always seem to miss.

Paul states he is not shamed of the gospel of Christ. What is the gospel? What does Paul see might be wrong in our theology and understanding of salvation? Why does he say there should be no unbelief in God? Is he being overzealous or showing us a different scenario of what we are to embrace as truth?
If you ever wondered if you are worth redeeming or if being loved, this will take those questions off your plate. The last 20 minutes will radically change your understanding of redemption, unless you already know why God Really sent his son.

Nicodemus comes to Jesus and shows him proper respect. Jesus offers a statement that seems to contradict what was said. But, a closer look reveals the reality of what Jesus said and what these three important verses reveal. They show us our own spiritually undersight and how the church has misrepresented the gospel. Listen and see if you agree!
