For some of us, these verses are a challenge will we buckle under the pressures of this world and compromise our whole reason for existence, or will we press on and continue to be different. There may be a call for us to repent. Does the world see us as different? What we have here are five marks that distinguish us as believers from the rest of the world five marks that make us different, and those marks lead us into why we exist. So first we are going to look at those five marks and then we will use them to answer the question of Why Do I Exist.

We will see several things in this passage. We have this priority and privilege of continually coming to Jesus, and that we are the house of God, that His story is our story. Finally, we will see the sin of unbelief. The beauty of our privilege is when to us as more glorious against the backdrop of those that stumble and dishonor Christ.

Has anyone ever told you that you just need to grow up? How do we grow up spiritually? 1 Peter 2:1-3 gives us the answer.
