In this episode, we bring you the second part of our conversation with Willow Creek Executive Pastor for Campuses, Tim Stevens.  Tim brings helpful wisdom, insight, and knowledge from his years as a mega church staff pastor — 20 years at Granger Church — and from his time working at the Vanderbloemen Search Group. We get into the specifics of leading well from the second chair, what it takes to work at a mega church, and how to transition well.

Tim Stevens is the executive pastor for campuses, at Willow Creek Community Church. Prior to that he served with the Vanderbloemen Search Group, which has served to help many pastors and churches through the job search process. He also served for 20 years at Granger Church in Indiana, as an executive pastor.

Tim brings so much to the table that we are dividing this conversation into 2 parts. Today, Tim discusses the value of wise counsel in our personal circles, the push and pull we experience as we consider transitions, and he touches on the very real mental health issues that many pastors are facing.
