Today we look at an amazing city counsel discussion this past Thursday in our Nation's Capitol, Washington DC. What was the discussion about? Legalizing prostitution in our Nation's Capitol. Yup.

First is the current story out of Little Rock that is making national news. The former owners of a Quality Inns in Little Rock are being sued by a lady who was trafficked out of the hotel for over 3 months.The entire 4th floor was rented out the entire time for the purpose of selling her and others.

Second we get to announce the upcoming benefit evening on the 24th of October for Path.

Today we finish up the news story about new technology that can help to fight trafficking over the internet.

We also begin a two week interview with Ms Louise Allison, Executive Director of PATH, about some of the difficult impacts on trauma counselors and ministries dealing with the victims and their trauma.

Today we share a current local story out of North Little Rock where a trucking company owner has been arrested on trafficking charges.

We also continue with the story about how new technology is being used to combat trafficking online.

Two important stories today.

First, out of Searcy, Arkansas. The Searcy Police Department and national investigators are asking for anyone that has been sexually used or abused by a John Ord, to call the Searcy Police Department. He is currently locked up and they are trying to gain information from other victims, not just for the trial but also to give his victims help.

The second story is pretty amazing. A new technology is available to get the phone numbers from web sites selling sex, that will then send text messages to those victims offering help! This could be a game changer! The article is written by a former IBM vice president. We will have to continue the story next week with more of the details on how this technology works.

We have two stories today. The first is a harrowing story out of Washington State. A woman and a man showed up at a mother's house at 7:30 the other morning. They were posing as agents of Child Protective Services. They announced they were there to take the mother's 4 year old son. They were fake. They did not get the mother's child. They have not been located yet. This is a heads up story.

The other is from National Review. It is a story about the on going battle in our nation's states to stop treating children caught up in trafficking as though they were criminals.
