Allen Shim is responsible for Slack’s financial management strategy, which includes overseeing global operations, finance, accounting, corporate strategy, treasury, tax, investor relations, business analytics, and IT.

Prior to Slack, Allen was the VP of finance and treasury at YuMe, where he helped drive growth from its startup period through its IPO. Earlier in his career, he worked at Yahoo after working as an equity research analyst for Sanford C. Bernstein and Citigroup Asset Management.

Allen received his BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a CFA charter holder.
