Today I am sharing a conversation I had with my dear friend Kelly. Kelly discusses how at the age of 41 she finally got to know herself.
Kelly discusses that due to the fear of upsetting the world around her she lost her voice. She shares that through finding her voice she has learned who she is as Kelly, independent of others' beliefs.
Kelly discusses that when you are not speaking your truth or using your voice you develop anxiety or unease because using or voice allows you to stand in your personal power which creates ease in your life.
Kelly also discusses her journey through the recovery of alcohol and drugs was not an easy choice but that the vulnerability of others showed her new possibilities in life. She also discusses how when she began to open up to those closest to her she began to find freedom.
Kelly's first step to changing her path was moving her body. Short walks and audiobooks pushed her forward into a life she never imagined possible for her.
