In week two of our series we discover that God will require us to change.  Although change can be difficult, and tiring, it is in the change that we must constantly depend upon Him.  Thankfully he can be depended upon, and he gives daily bread to those who ask.

This week we begin a new series called – Times Like These.  It is easy to lose heart in uncertain times, but we do not have to.  Throughout this series of messages we will learn how to have faith through uncertainty.

Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday.  In this message Pastor Nathan will remind us that we should keep our eyes fixed on Jesus during this COVID-19 Pandemic.  When we lose sight of the horizon of God’s love and care for us, it is easy to become disoriented and fearful.  We need not be afraid … He is risen!

This week we are joined by Todd Cook (Connections Pastor), Madison Cook (Starting Point Group Leader), and Nathan Blais (Lead Pastor). During this Palm Sunday conversation we wrestle with the question “Who is Jesus?”.  Whether you are new to faith or a seasoned veteran, we know this message will encourage you.

In this final instalment of our 1 Thessalonians series we are encouraged to listen to what the Spirit of God is saying.  Paul puts the ball in our court to listen and test everything we hear and to hold fast to what is good and despise or set aside what is not.

This week Pastor Nathan and Kirk Goodman continue our series in Thessalonians by discussing verses 12 to 18.  In these verses Paul encourages the church to honour those who are over you, help those around you, and to embrace an attitude that may not seem justified in the light of what is happening around you.

This week we continued our conversation about the future event predicted throughout the scripture … we call it the second coming of Jesus. Paul will remind the Christians at Thessalonica about what he had already taught them concerning the Day of the Lord.

This week we will turn our attention towards the future event predicted throughout the scripture … we call it the second coming of Jesus. Paul will instruct the Thessalonians to encourage each other at the thought of return of Christ to resurrect the living and the dead to be with Him for eternity.

God’s will for our life is that we would be set apart from ungodly behaviours and for brotherly love. As we continue our study in Thessalonians we will see Paul and his companions turn their attention toward the kind of life Christians ought to live. As we seek to grow in our faith, we should see progress in our love and generosity.

As we enter the fourth chapter of our text, Paul and his companions turn their attention towards the cultural issue of sexuality. The first century was very much a sex-crazed culture not unlike our own. In this message, we consider how God has designed and intended for us to use our bodies as we engage in, or abstain from, sexual activity.
