Because of sound quality and the irreplaceable connection that comes with face-to-face interviews, I avoid Zoom and phone interviews at all costs. However, if something or someone’s message trumps those variables, I make an exception. That’s the case for Patrick Stokes and his son, Seán.
Listen to a recall of May 17, 2024 when Patrick got a call no parent ever wants to get. His son, Seán, had been in an accident and was at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Patrick and his wife made the drive to rescue their son, not knowing any details of what had happened or how he was. In fact, for hours they wouldn’t be able to see him or know anything about his current state. The couple only knew he was in exploratory surgery. This surgery will be the first of many as they piece, secure and bring Seán back to the teenager he once was: athletic, intelligent, entrepreneurial and passionate about mechanics. If you are interested in learning more, Patrick downloads Seán’s day here: facebook.com/patrick.stokes.1485

I am adding video podcasting to my repertoire of mediums. During this transition, I have banked a batch of episodes in the new studio. The infrastructure and powers that be aren't quite ready. If you want to listen to the audio version as normal, NOTHING will change for you. However, if you want to WATCH the full-length podcast, that option will now be available. In the meantime, stay with me and listen to these still relevant recordings of the HyperLocal(s) Podcast.
Thank you so much for listening! However your podcast host of choice allows, please positively: rate, review, comment and give all the stars! Don’t forget to follow, subscribe, share and ring that notification bell so you know when the next episode drops!
