Hello everybody,

Happy August I am still battling a bit with jet lag but all is well. Just saying hello and saluting Jerry and Hermann on their birthdays, with gratitude for their good works.

A couple of suggestions. If you like Instagram, one of our subscribers @fredericward, posts lovely meditations and pictures on the occasions of the birth or passing of many of our beloved poets, artists, activists and friends. Today he honors both of them. Also today on Rimbaud’s Lost Papers [email protected] Oliver Ray gives us a rare glimpse of the book he is writing, all his posts are illuminating.

I will be writing more soon, I am finishing another little poem to send my subscribers. It’s very hot in the city today, so I am sticking around, listening to the Grateful Dead and perhaps reread a few chapters of Billy Budd.

Hello everyone,

I am back. A bit jet lagged but happy. Just wanted to say hello and send a few snapshots of our last city visited. I love Vienna, and I was fortunate enough to stay in the beautiful, historic Sacher Hotel. Since they all seem to know I love the city’s ferris wheel, made famous by a wonderful scene in Carol Reed’s The Third Man, I was surprised by an all chocolate welcome.

I hope everyone is faring well. I will be back tomorrow with more pictures, and perhaps a little more wide awake. Thank you for waiting for me…..
