Welcome back for another episode, and this week our hosts share their glee at finally getting a couple of PS5s for themselves. We’ll start with some impressions on the PS5 before moving on to our weekly Game Ranks. Moses brings his first Kart Racer into the mix, and Paul gets mixed up and re-ranks his favorite Bach-based game.
Following this, Moses sings the praises of mic’d randos on Apex Legends, and some of his experiences engaging with voice chat. Paul then reflects on the pod itself and the future of the show. Don’t worry though, we’re not going anywhere!
The talk gets even realer as Paul asks Moses to tell him about his Dark Souls play philosophy and strategies, and if he may get stuck into ruts of his own making. It’s a heaping helping of souls searching that you won’t want to miss. Moses then asks Paul about his favorite Blaseballer, with frog-like results!
Speaking of Blaseball, we’ve got another edition of the Update for you, then we Make My Game and call it a show!
Join us this week for more Inscryption talk, including an important disclaimer for all of you dentophobes out there. We also rank it up, with Moses bringing a Heavenly Rhythm game and Paul singing the praises of the 11th Final game set in a Fantasy world.
After the Blaseball Manor candles are extinguished once more, we slide right into our guest segment featuring Ryan Gan. He brings his cornucopia of gaming history and knowledge to bear as the three of us engage in a rollicking discussion of Dark Souls, obscure Japanese arcade games, and much more. It’s all Chiller and no filler this week, so oh, won’t you join us? Sorry about the mystery squeaks towards the end of the episode, too!
Welcome back to new week and a new show, where our hosts catch up on their recent gaming, including talk about Inscription and Trombone Champ.
It’s then time to Wright some wrongs, as Paul adds a long overdue classic to his rankings and Moses remains to legit to acquit. Sorry.
Up next our flights of fancy to turn to talk of love, as Moses returns to Apex once again, and Paul discusses the delights of sharing games with people who don’t play games that often.
After a little Tell and Tell we have another tiny baby Blaseball Update, but fear not! Blasetober is upon us! Joy!
On this weeks show Moses shows no reservation when praising his ranked game this week, and Paul dives deep with his own selection.
Moses also has a few tunes to share again as he brings back the classic mash-up album Ocarina of Rhyme. You’ll never open a chest the same way again! Unless you are an adult and it’s just a little one and you gently kick it open, because nothing beats that.
Things then take a culinary turn as Paul asks Moses for his top gamer grub, and Moses asks Paul to regale him with tales of PVP past. Got a nice little Blaseball Update, and a nicer, littler Make My Game to wrap things up!
Welcome back to the show, and this week our hosts discuss why we start with Peoria and how best to clamber on your mates.
We’ve also got Moses with a few stray observations, we share a few tunes, and then the faintest whisp of a Blaseball Update. Rejoice, the return is nigh!
After a few semi-tumultuous weeks, we’re back! Join us for all the usual fun, with Moses taking us to the (suitably grim) darkness of the far future and Paul taking us to a game with a point of… view.
Moses then has a few Points to make about the Stormy new Apex map, and Paul talks about what a balm, a boon, a salve, and a needed distraction our favorite hobby can be, especially in tough times.
Our hosts then tell each other about a thing or two, Make My Game, and then it’s off to bed. With full pudding privileges!
Welcome back to the show, and this week Paul and Moses add their 60th games to their Favorite Games of All Time lists, one host peering back into the mists of time, and the other is um… jamming out?
Following this we’ll learn what Paul loves about no-takesies-backsies in Freeway and discover Moses’ favorite button, before hearing the very definition of fun itself. Look it up in the dictionary if you don't believe me!
