Pauper VS. The Bracket

In today's episode of Pauper vs. the Bracket we find out if the Mage’s deck burnt the Chemist to a crisp or if the Chemists deck will get in and get out undetected. The Moonhaven Mage is bringing a spicy Forth Wing inspired deck where every card can be traced back to the somewhere in the book series. Where the Cardboard Chemist is bringing a deck inspired by the thrilling heists from Oceans Eleven except this time its in space. Come join us to find out which deck comes takes home the gold.

This week's episode is a little bit different we are calling these episodes the "Catalyst Question". That's where we pose a question and then dig into the data to find out what's really going on. Questions can be about the differences between cards, formats, or even about the social dynamics and how people interact with this game we all love. We are kicking off our Catalyst Question series with a deep dive into the differences between Pauper EDH commanders and "Regular" EDH commanders. Our goal is to find out if there are any differences.

This is Pauper vs. The Bracket: Proving Pauper Can Compete. This show explores whether pauper edh decks can compete in an average commander night. Pauper EDH is the same as regular commander but you can only use common cards in the 99 and you get one uncommon creature in the command zone (legendary or not). Even though it's full of commons Pauper EDH can still compete especially against your average Bracket 2 and 3 decks.
