Every year since 2014 the SCCA has awarded twenty-three women drivers from across the country the Wendi Allen Scholarship. On this episode of the Pax Attack we talk with the 2022 winners. Join us for a conversation with Layne Lindemann, Chelsea Tattershall and Maia Kirk. 2016 winner Cindy Duncan also joins the show to share her thoughts on the award and what it means to her.

The scholarship was established by the family of Wendi Allen to honor her dedication to the sport and to support the efforts of other women drivers competing at Solo National events across the country. Through the generous gifts provided by donations, the SCCA and Mazda winners receive $1500 for travel expenses and the SCCA waives the entry fees for all Solo National events during the year.

Lee joined us to share a little of his story in episode 19, Zoomboni so be sure to listen to the that episode first before diving into this bonus show.
