In this last (or possibly second to last episode) of the year and last episode of the season I've been letting myself feel some things that were unsafe for me to feel before my dad died. one of them has been disappointment.

it's sucked, ima be honest. its not a feeling I'm too comfortable with. and maybe that's okay too. 
 I put a few tips in for anyone who's feeling like me - that disappointment isn't ok, and maybe for you it isnt...and that's okay too.

Election week has felt very intense. lately I have been feeling stress, overwhelm, anxiousness, excitement, contentment, fear, and a few other things.

Lately, I have also felt numb to those feelings.

And that's OK. 

This is my exploration of survival mode, what feeling our feelings actually does,  and how allowing ourselves to feel, is one step closer to allowing ourselves to BE.

and in doing so, maybe we end up fulfilling our purpose after all.

My experience with my Prayer Group, Real Prayer Movement, at the BLM Los Angeles Protest, and what it was like meeting some cops right after and praying with them, and realizing i hadn't felt really deeply in a while. My experience this last few weeks with the reality of trauma and emotional addiction, learning how to feel again, and making the choice to allow my feelings to flow, and accepting and choosing peace.
