The Dallas Mavericks came into game 2 of the first round down 0-1 to the Utah Jazz after losing a heartbreaker. The Mavs had plenty of chances to win in game 1 and it felt like that was our opportunity to steal a game against the Jazz without Luka. We had no idea what to expect in game 2 but man it was one for the ages. 

The Mavs came out and got the W and all it took was a career-high from Jalen Brunson and 1 point below a career-high for Maxi Kleber. Donovan Mitchell had another poor shooting game and the Mavs' defense showed up to make the Jazz earn every point. In the end, it was a collective effort that closed out the Jazz so the Mavs will go into game 3 with the series even as they buy Luka more time to recover.
