A couple of days ago I mentioned at the end of an episode that the LORD gave me a dream of a sister-in-Christ who has recently passed. I share that dream today and how it is meant to take our eyes off the natural and to put them on the eternal promise we have for our eternal dwelling. The promise of eternal life is real, and we are to always have that hope sustaining us during the weariness of the life we live here. Some of us have bodies that are failing and groaning, but that is not our end. We are promised for a resurrection life, a life clothed in the eternal promises of God. In John 4:4-42 we see the power of Christ revealing Himself to a woman who was defensive and self-protective. Jesus took the conversation to her vulnerabilities and shame very quickly. He didn't beat around the bush with her. At the same time, He offered her a drink that would make her new and satisfy her soul. The result? Her entire town came to believe in Jesus! Do not be afraid of the difficult things He may say to you, because with it comes an offer of new life and a satisfied soul! Take time today to worship the LORD in Spirit and in truth! For some of us, our pride stands in the way of our healing. We're too independent, not admitting our need, not letting others come to us.
