Peace Devotions Audio

The wisemen gave gifts that were practical, but also to show their love and praise for Jesus. God would have us do the same today.

There's a psychological phenomenon that I think that we're all a little bit susceptible to. It's called rosy retrospection.

To what lengths would you go to worship Jesus? Would you wake up early in the morning? Would you set aside a part of your day or your busy schedule to go and worship him? Would you travel a great distance if that was required?

A few years ago, I went whitewater rafting. I was so excited for the trip. I was looking forward to the adventure.

I have so much to do today, I don't have time to pray. Have you ever caught yourself thinking that way? So hectic, so busy, so much to do, so much pressure, I just don't have time to sit down and pray.

He didn't condemn you. He didn't throw you aside. He sent Jesus. So that you can be freely forgiven.

Sometimes we're tempted to think that we are self-made people. I have earned this. I have done this.

This Christmas unwrap Jesus. Maybe it's been a long time since you have read the Bible. Maybe you've never read it. Read what God did in the sending of his Son as a great gift to forgive all of your sins.

Revenge feels good if someone hurts us. Our natural reaction is to try to pay them back, to make them feel that same sort of pain that we felt.
