So many of us think we need to fight ourselves to over come the food struggle…
Which is understandable, we have this desire for sweets and your mind is consumed with thoughts about food, that we feel like we have no control over, and we’ve been told to resist it. “just resist the urge” and it doesn't work, because we burn ourselves out, all that willpower depletes and we give in.
Usually that leaves you feel terrible and down about yourself, makes you not even want to try again.
But, if you can start working with yourself, instead of against yourself.
You start to go about this in a way that you can actually enjoy and follow through on. SO that you aren’t beating yourself up and stopping.
Over time you start to see that you’ve made changes, that you’re happy about, that now seem easy and are the new norm.
