About Zach

Zach has been around the real estate business for over 7 years, coaching and mentoring in a numerous ways throughout the real estate world. Zach graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 2008 and enrolled at Bay State University to focus on Management/Marketing. He then continued his education at UMass Dartmouth, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Finance. Throughout his college years, he worked in the restaurant industry.Zach’s current focus is helping our Associates from many backgrounds and situations, looking to start or continue their REI business.

He specializes in speaking with sellers to find the best option for them. He helps acquire 5-10 properties every month between the family business and Associates. It was a natural fit for him to be involved in this part of the business because, at heart, he is a problem solver and a people person. His skills in marketing and finance have allowed him to thrive in such a short period of time in this business.

Zachary is always educating himself and is always striving to become the best he can be. He is constantly looking for ways to sharpen his skillset in order to educate others.

Success was sweet to me. At the relatively young age of 40, I had worked long and hard and I was enjoying the fruits of my honest labors.   

As a hard-driving Christian entrepreneur, I had managed to parlay my God-given business acumen, natural tenacity, and technological savvy into a bevy of business interests that generated hefty profits and a positive cash flow. I owned 7 apartment complexes (399 units), a car lot and a consulting company. All of them had been profitable business enterprises over the years.

On the home front, my gorgeous wife Jordan was smart and sophisticated (I truly married way above my means!), and my young daughter Abigail was loving, caring and talented. I wanted to give them both the best of everything. We lived in a good upscale neighborhood outside of Winston-Salem, NC, and we had purchased a vacation home in the mountains. I drove a new Porsche and Jordan always had the latest and nicest SUV. We owned show horses and Abigail was considered a child prodigy in equestrian circles.

So, to all outward appearances, I was living the American Dream, and I relished that superficial image of glamorous prosperity.

Today's show is about finding boots on the ground

I know you might be thinking, like I do, who has time to look for properties?

I have a full time job, family, etc and I don’t have the time.

 Most of us have said this at one time or another. But with Technology, There are companies that out there now, the world has shrunk that we have these services to help us, in other words, we can outsource visiting houses.

 Now these are suggestions that I have done, investors I know have done, but whatever feels comfortable for you keep doing it.

 I’m not saying don’t ever visit a property, it’s good experience I’ve done my share of visiting houses, at one time from 2008 through early 2009

I was a real estate agent and my job was to show houses/apartments to prospective tenants, after a while you can learn more about a property, what needs major repairs, or cosmetics. You can make unbelievable contacts in real estate by being an agent.
