I tried to carefully plan my current large painting and execute it all alla prima, but I eventually realized that strictly following a set plan just isn't how it feels good. I went back to a small practice canvas to follow my old intuition how to paint and just let the paint do its own thing. Have fun watching.

My dream is to sustain myself with my art someday, but I'm genuinely glad I haven't achieved it yet. I'm nowhere close, and it's okay; today I want to argue against the usual "all or nothing" mentality I was obsessed with when I was younger.
