After many month on the workbench, Tim the Enchanter is done. Basically a 3d face print with pan-tilt servos controlled by a bluetooth xbox style controller. He reads from multiple text files and returns a random saying from that file which can also be changed at with the controller.

I'm blessed to own a lot of neat things, and I've come to terms with the fact that I don't have the time and energy to give everything frequent attention. I have a lot of vintage PCs and Macs that haven't in powered on in years. Let's see if they still work.

This short video captures a conversation I had with Miss Wang. When I shared my work-in-progress album with her, her reaction surprised me - the album is deeply inspired by nature, yet she finds it most alive amidst concrete and crowds, where organic life barely exists. That tension sparked something fascinating.

If you shoot on the Lumix S9, this could be your new walkabout 50mm. It's the Viltrox AF 50mm F2 L. This full-frame lens is small, fast, shoots sharp wide open, and delivers lovely smooth bokeh. All for less than $200.

I'm reviewing this against the Lumix S 50mm F1.8, which costs a lot more and is quite a bit bigger, and against the cheaper TTArtisan 50mm Neo F1.8... Plus I'll have one more surprise option that you may not haven't even considered for your compact L-mount setup.
