October 16th - I wandered outside to check for Aurora and could see a clear arc forming so I quickly set up a camera, the display didn't last long but it was a beauty.
October 10th - the Aurora show just kept going, I had now set up a camera in the window and left it to run all night. This clip stops at midnight because it all got a bit meh after that
October 10th - 20:10 - The sky was lit up by a fabulous display of coloured Aurora rays

Dig chalk on your own land in Second Life and turn it into garden lime, the fertiliser that sweetens sour soil so your vineyards and fields can thrive.
The SL Colonies Roleplay Chalk Pit is a gatherable for your region. Take out a small basket, dig, and come away with chalk for the Compost Bin. This video shows the whole thing, from the first dig to making it match your land.
⛏️ Dig with a small basket: about 45 seconds and 10 energy for 2 to 6 chalk, and about one dig in five turns up a rock.
⏳ The pit regrows in three hours, so it is a stock to manage, and a Farmer with a pit has chalk to sell.
🧪 At the Compost Bin, 20 dung and 20 chalk in a large bag make ten garden lime, which lifts the soil's pH by half a point. Add wood ash and it makes fine garden lime, which nudges it a fifth.
🍇 A vineyard's soil starts a little too sour for grapes, so garden lime is what every vintner will want first.
🔥 Its opposite, sulphur mulch, comes from the sulphur the Smelter leaves behind, so a Farmer can move soil either way.
🎨 Fully modifiable: the chalk and the turf are separate faces, so you can re-texture the ground to match your terrain, or link your own mesh.
📍 Spawn points move the pit around your land each time it regrows.
Times and yields are as recorded and may be tuned.
