Simply the most technologically impressive toy based on a vacuum fluorescent display that I have seen. Very fun to play too.

A very cool vintage toy based on a vacuum fluorescent display, and among the most collectable of all VFD-based games.

Most of Sony's digital cameras and camcorders from the late 1990s and early 2000s use the InfoLithium L-series battery. Sony has not manufactured replacement batteries in almost 20 years, but the battery itself became a standard in the broadcast video market, with third parties making both equipment (we have lights and field monitors at the station that use them) to use the batteries, and the batteries themselves.
Today these third-party broadcast-market batteries can be bought easily and affordably, but will they work in vintage Sony equipment, which often won't accept batteries that don't properly implement the InfoLithium circuitry? Let's find out.

In another video from the backlog, taped three years ago, a look at the most frustrating electronic typewriter I have used. I feel like if I had a manual, I would have loved this thing's rich feature set, but unfortunately I couldn't find one online.
I bought a ballast on eBay of a model known to be among the weakest F40T12 ballasts. But when I wired it up and started testing it, I discovered that I had something far more strange. Watch and see.

Ever since I got the new motherboard and PSU for the main PC last year, I was itching for a new case, and I did get one not long afterwards. Here's how that all went, starting from 10 months ago.
I've had this Socket A motherboard sitting in a box for a couple of years. Let's finally put it in a case and see if it works.
