In a slight change of form, we look at a modern LED lantern you can buy today. How does the light quality, USB output, and battery voltage management stack up? I run some tests to find out.

I bought a Schylling Lava Lamp, and the liquid was so cloudy that you can barely see the wax inside, despite following the instructions for clearing cloudy liquid, and running the lamp for several days on top of that. I exchanged the lamp, and the replacement, shown in this video, is exactly the same.

This business-grade large-format color inkjet printer showed up on Facebook Marketplace for free. Is it too good to be true?

I picked up this cool old 21" TV set (plus an additional surprise) off the side of the road. Will it work?

I bought this Chinese "Canarm" 2xF40T12 shoplight for $15 at the ReStore. Let's see what it has for a ballast and lamps, see if any of it works, and then put a better ballast in it. For science!
