Update to my Steamdeck Cassette player. You can add your own music folders and play them as "Cassette". It still has a few bugs. You can try it here: https://colourlesspony.itch.io/casstte-deck-themed-music-player

A walk around the house - it is on the market for sale in the spring of 2026, so looking pretty well kept these days. This is episode 2 of our moving vlog - setting the stage for what comes next.

Puppy Arwen (age 9½ weeks), trying to sleep on my feet... But I wiggled a bit, poor her...

She was the cutest then, and she remained the cutest until she passed away on 04/07/2025 (5 months ago today, 😢). She is missed a lot... 💜

Listening in on rag chews. I did not participate because I don't have my license yet

I picked up the plug in version of the Eventide H3000 Harmonizer, one of the most famous FX units ever made! Beloved by many of my favorite artists (including Brian Eno), how could I resist? Let's see how it can be used in sound design and explore some presets!

Here is a music video for Shannon Curtis - One Thread vs control.org mix. Let me first thank the indomitable original artist for not just permission for me to endirtify her gorgeous work, but for participating in my broken VHS deck style AV hijinks as well!

In 2023 I was artistically lost due to health and spoons. Towards the end of the year I thought perhaps a remix would be a low stress way to get back at the studio desk. Shannon and Jamie were lovely enough to let me at the vocal stems of the anthem "I Am" and give it the warehouse thump treatment.

2024 was much worse for me, but I was in love with Shannon's also anthem One Thread and couldn't stop thinking but what if distorted industrial drums? I mic'd up a drum kit for the first time in YEARS and mangled some sample sets I've used in various remixes since.

2025 continued building energy where I designed and built my first live show in over 6 years since my last tour. I've used the guest vocalist on video in various tours and again, Shannon was all in. I forgot to hit record during the live stream concert so here is a music video version!

phew! Stay vertical out there team. Stomp in solidarity.
