Wenn das nicht ein galanter Ausflug ist! Es wäre ja auch zu kompliziert gewesen, durch die kleine Klappe im Haus nach draußen zu gehen. Das rote Schwedenhäuschen wird bewohnt von zwei Perlhuhnjungs, die seit Jahren dicke Freunde sind.Calimero, der wildfarbene, sollte gemästet und geschlachtet werden, aber er hatte da eine bessere Idee. Hütchen, der weiße, war „Zuchtausschuss“ und saß in einer Mülltonne, als wir ihn abholten. Aufgrund einer Beinfehlstellung war das noch ganz junge Perlhuhn für seinen Züchter „nicht zu gebrauchen“: „normalerweise“ werden solche Tiere dann durch Schlachtung entsorgt. Hütchen läuft nicht wie ein normales Perlhuhn, weil er das eine Bein nur als Krücke benutzen kann. Fliegen kann er umso besser!
Dass Hütchen und Calimero ihren sicheren Lebensort finden konnten, verdanken sie auch den lieben Menschen, die sie mit einer Patenschaft unterstützen.
