Christopher Henry is a British property investor with over 15 years of experience in the field. Starting as an electrician, he got an insight into the world of property investment from inside the investor's projects, and although the road has not been straightforward, he has been working towards his goal with the motto; “consistency is key”. Now based in Sweden, he is learning how to work remotely. It’s a good thing multitasking comes easy for this guy, since working in Sweden, as well as learning Swedish and having two limited companies in the UK, is not for the lazy. With knowledge on how to deal with investors, tradesmen, and project management, he shares some tips on how he makes it work.

Our guest on today’s podcast is Jerome Roith who has operated in the UK property market for over 25 years.

Jerome has been involved in Land and Development deals with a GDV in excess of £36m and in this episode we are discussing how to get planning permission on sites and the way to minimize risk with that strategy.

He has developed numerous new build and office to residential conversions and goes into detail on securing sites without planning permission. We also delve into Permitted Development and how this relaxation of planning regulations transformed the way developers generate profits in a quicker timeframe.

Jerome will also provide valuable insight on the principles of business and how authenticity is the key to building long term relationships.

We will also hear from Jerome on how he was inspired to set up his own Property Development Training programme by speaking to younger people that have been on Property training courses and their experiences.
