Check out the live production now streaming on youtube, of the Broadway show “The Nance” starring Nathan Lane.  This was a new play in 2013, about a 1930’s gay burlesque comedian, looking for love in NYC. Not an easy thing in those days because of it’s illegality, the constant fear of police stings and raids. What you’d call a bittersweet story, but brilliantly staged, alternating between his apartment and the burlesque show. Excellent performances from all concerned. Not to be missed by fans of the genres i.e. gay themed theatre and burlesque.         

                                                                       

Song Of The Week: Ethan with ’Til Morning. A New Zealander, now based in Sydney but back in New Zealand at the moment because of this COVID19 business. Anyway, this is a sweet piece of prp/r&b edm, makes for relaxed listening, and isn’t that what we need now?
