Limits are there to remind us to slow down and rely on God. Sometimes we have to push past our limits to fully receive the blessings that God has in store for our lives.

We have all had our Prodigal Son moment. We’ve screwed up time and time again, but God is just one step away. Once we have come back home we are called to be the salt of the earth and help the world be better and look better while using our testimony to help others come home as well.

It’s very easy to get caught up in our feelings and lose faith when things are tough. This week we break down the importance of digging deep and getting to the source of your problems while also being aware of what triggers our old coping mechanisms.

How deep are you willing to go to experience peace in life’s storms? Crazy stuff happens every day, but Christ offers a peace that the world can’t give you. Your peace may be what it takes to help others as well. Don’t be a bad example of what Christ looks like!

Being teachable and submissive to what God wants for our lives allows us to build on our faith and go deeper than just being a Basic Christian. Take a leap of faith, work hard, seek biblical knowledge, exhibit Godliness, and persevere through whatever comes your way in order to go from a Basic Christians to a Disciple of Christ.
