It is only a short time after Agabus took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands with it and said by the Spirit of the Lord that the owner of that belt will be bound in Jerusalem and handed over to the Gentiles.

It is interesting to note that while Paul was determined to go back to Jerusalem, the Lord had told him to leave Jerusalem and that the Lord was sending him to the Gentiles soon after his conversion. Even though many pleaded with Paul not to go to Jerusalem as he neared the end of his third missionary journey, he went nevertheless. Was Paul in the will of God at this time in going to Jerusalem?

As Paul prepares to go to Jerusalem, he calls for the the elders of Ephesus. This is the first message that we see where Paul preaches to Christians. Paul gives the instructions about the importance of caring for the sheep.

As Paul is about to leave Troas the next day, he preaches one of the longest sermons recorded in the Bible. A young man named Eutychus falls to his death after falling asleep while sitting in the window, or door opening; but that's not where the story ends...

Demetrius, a Silversmith in Ephesus was upset with Paul because Paul was bad for the idol worshiping business. Paul refused to compromise when it came to the Word of God.

Paul begins his third missionary journey and goes to Ephesus. God used Paul to perform incredible miracles as he preached and taught the word of God.

It is rare to find a couple that brings home a believer to help him or her understand the Word of God more adequately. Aquila and Priscilla were a unique couple in the body of Christ.

While Emperor Claudius expelled the Jews from Italy, Aquila and Priscilla did not stop ministering. They met Paul and the three quickly developed a strong bond.

After those from Thessalonica heard about Paul being in Berea, they went there to stir up trouble. Paul is taken by some of the Berean men to Athens and while waiting for Silas and Timothy to join him, Paul begins to share the gospel in this idolatrous place.

After Paul and Silas were run out of town in Thessalonica, they go about 50 miles southwest to Berea; and what a blessing that the Bereans searched the scriptures daily to be sure that what they heard was the truth.
