After Paul and Silas were beaten in Philippi, things did not improve when they went to Thessalonica. Being in the will of God does at times means pain. We must serve God not out of convenience, but out of Love and Obedience.

Right at the time of prayer, Paul and his companions are met by a slave girl who was demonically possessed. Just because a person may say something that is a true statement, the church is not to embrace every messenger.

There are times that God closes doors and we fail to realize that there is another door that the Lord is opening. Rather than quitting or getting upset with the Lord because a door has closed, we need to look and see what other door the Lord is opening.

Paul is about to embark on his second missionary journey. After a major dispute between Paul and Barnabas over John Mark, they go their separate ways but continue to minister.

The Religious leaders hated Paul so much that they hired a lying lawyer to bring trumped up charges against Paul. Paul was not a man that could be bribed and he stuck to the truth no matter the cost.

Even though John Mark left Apostle Paul and his uncle Barnabas to go back to Jerusalem, Paul and Barnabas continued to honor the call that God placed on their lives.

This is the second part of the sermon where Peter is in jail awaiting execution, but God delivered him a tremendous way.
