The billionaire ruling class has made several changes to lessen democracy in Baltimore and increase rule by a new form of police terror. 

Fascism is much more than the Neo Nazis. It is the corporate/military takeover of government and the destruction of our democracy. The old police terror found in the back of a police van is decried while a new police terror is implemented with little knowledge or discussion.  This is done with tax dollars and private capitalist grants.

This police state is for each of us, whether you protest Freddy Grey’s death, the pollution of the Bay, fracking or poor education, a system to deny your rights is being created.  Now is the time to stop it.

Let the truth be told. Capitalism generates inequality and wealth, status and power. You must recognize the unfairness of a system that allows wealth to accumulate to an unlimited degree and claim to provide equal opportunity for the people.

It is a system that undermines democracy by concentrating power and wealth in the hands of a few. The establishment no longer needs educated workers as it once did. Whirlpool set its sights on turning the city of Benton Harbor into a lakeside resort for the wealthy. Whirlpool and other corporations teamed up and began transitioning the area from an industrial based economy to a tourist, real estate and service-based economy.

I am afraid the parents, teachers and school board members have been misled and lied to by Whirlpool. Now we have three schools closing, overcrowded classrooms and there is no telling what kind of education the children will get. The economy and social equality is the essence of democracy and is the antithesis of capitalism. We must confront the Whirlpool Corporation at all cost.

The Struggle for Democracy in America Intensifies

The 2016 presidential election was one of the most divisive in our country’s history. This is no surprise, given the economic, moral, and political crisis.

The crisis can’t be solved within an economy controlled by corporations and billionaires. The corporations won’t support workers they don’t need. At the same time, masses of unemployed people are a threat to the system, so the billionaires use racism and every other divisive ideology to pit us against each other. Our fight for a program that can pull our whole society forward and put our country on a path to peace, prosperity, equality and democracy. A coopera`tive society, where the necessities of life are distributed based on need, not money.

The People Demand a Humane Society

Electronic production is rapidly eliminating human labor in all sectors of the economy. This is causing a political crisis. How will the ruling class control us when our labor is no longer needed. How will we , without money, eat, secure housing, be educated, have health care and have even water ? The Justice Department ordered many cosmetic changes, but BCPD had the last laugh.

Under the nose of the US Justice Department, the BCPD operated an illegal spying operation that spied on all the people of Baltimore, including the Mayor and City Council.

Dropping the benign mask of “Serve and Protect,” the police stand exposed as the ”watchdogs of private property.” Militarized, divorced from society, striving to become a law unto themselves, their every brutal, illegal act shapes the American fascist police state.
