We've started book two, and what a bang it starts with! In this episode we're introduced to a new and already beloved character Tyson (poor Tyson), we find out if Percy can finally make it a year at school without being expelled, and we can't help but see many, many Harry Potter parallels.

This week, Beth and Will finish Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief! In this episode, prepare for Percy's big showdown with the God of War, a visit to the heights of Mount Olympus and the answers to the questions Will's been guessing at the whole way through. Oh and there's a traitor in our midst.

Following this episode we will be having a brief intermission in which we will put out a special episode or two deep diving into the myths, legends and monsters in this book before continuing onto The Sea of Monsters.
