According to Psychology Today, Perfectionists desire success, but they are most focused on avoiding failure. They don’t believe in unconditional love, expecting others’ affection and approval to be dependent on a flawless performance.
Friend, the truth is the quest to achieve the unobtainable often leaves us frustrated, exhausted, and anxious.
Our mission is to help you see that you are enough through Jesus Christ. But in order to move forward in a healthy way, we need to explore the relationship between perfectionism and anxiety.
Why are the two so closely related? How do these manifest themselves in ways that steal our joy? Is there hope to be freed from the problem(s) of perfect?
