Perfectly Mid

Comiket is the largest fan convention in the world - it's also one of the horniest! Steve recounts all the incredible cosplay and fan works, plus all the "cultured" content he witnessed at Winter Comiket '24, and shares the questionable gifts he brought back for Emily and Karlo. Hopefully we self-edited it enough for Youtube! Then we FINALLY get to unbox Emily's highly detailed Kamisama Kiss figure. Turns out only one of the 2 bodies is safe for screens! This is easily the spiciest episode we've recorded to date; let us know your thoughts in the comments!#anime #podcast #animepodcast #comiket #convention #cosplay #doujin #animefigures #kamisamakiss

Don't worry, no spoilers here - despite the efforts of the official Crunchyroll account! Karlo unfortunately got spoiled, Steve debriefs on his month in Japan, and Emily has updates on eyepatch villainesses and vampire baby daddies.

Ironically, Steve also gushes about seeing The Pillows live just 12 hours before they announce they're disbanding!Has the gang enjoyed the biggest shows this season? And what does Karlo think about rewatching FLCL as an adult? As one of Steve's favorite shows, that's a risky review to give live on camera!

It's 2024, and these stories aren't just for girls! It's time to deep dive into the wide world of shojo/josei series! Where's the line between shojo and romance? Emily returns just in time to dish on the final chapters of My Hero Academia and JJK, and the overzealous shippers reacting to them! With these two heavyweights now off the page, which series will carry Shonen Jump in 2025? Plus, she and Karlo recount their travels by bike, hike and foot across Japan! Where is everyone's favorite city? You'll have to watch to find out!

The weather is colder, but our opinions are red hot this episode! Are Western properties adapted to anime, or vice versa, ever good? Is JJK a Gen Z v. Millennial anime? Plus we've actually been watching some American TV shows! Tune in for our last episode before Emily returns - will the show become calmer or more unhinged when she's back?!

Emily's away so it's an all-boys episode! Bump the masculinity to 11 as Karlo and Steve talk about how hard Dandadan hits its emotional highs, fight over whether Look Back's anime or manga made them cry harder, and

Spooky season is finally here and our 2024 Conventions journey is at an end! How does our hometown New York Comic Con stack up against the rest? Then we're horrified by the Uzumaki anime for all the wrong reasons. Plus the Dandadan "controversy" and how incredible episode 4 was, and debating if there such a thing as a good horror anime? Halloween may have passed but it's not truly over until you watch this episode!

4 seasons and 3 Final Parts wasn't enough; now #Attack on Titan is off the screen and onto the stage. With music! We saw Attack on Titan the Musical and have so many thoughts to share!
