Do you wrestle with being a people pleaser? Shawna admits: “Me too; the hardest person to please is myself!” Jesus didn’t struggle with people pleasing at all. He knew He was perfectly loved. Could that be the way out of the people pleasing club?

When Perry was in 5th grade, he took first step into eternal life. Eternal life is not first, living forever, it actually begins in this life when the love of God is poured into your heart by the Holy Spirit!

How I deal with my pain might be the most significant factor in how my life will pan out. We hold onto our pain and transfer it to every relationship or we can surrender our pain to Jesus, let Him heal us, and transform us to bless others.  

Then, "Feelings inform us and can be helpful to have along for the ride, but I'm not going to hand them the keys."

I’m so grateful for the people in my life who have shared great wisdom with me. They are often an answer to prayer. But if I’m not careful I’ll look to them before going to God first.

Last, a great prayer to pray for anyone who is spiritually dry, whether they know Jesus or not, is for God to make them spiritually hungry and thirsty for Him!
