Perry Mason

Perry Mason is the defense attorney created by Earle Stanley Gardner in his fictional crime novels. It was adapted for radio, with Gardner writing some of the first episodes, and was serialized as daily 15 minute episodes. Although Mason is a Lawyer he is as much out of the courtroom as in it often playing more the part of a detective.

BE WARNED though that some episodes of Perry Mason are no longer in existence and even after many episodes many of the stories are incomplete.

For example, in the 39 episodes 2215 - 2254 of Perry Mason the strategy of prosecutor Frederick Apt was to prove not only that Mae Grant killed Marcel Blanc but also to prove that Mae was passionately in love with the murdered man and that out of her infatuation grew the motive for murder. Of course we all know that Perry Mason will uncover the truth and prove that Mae Grant was innocent, yes of course we all know that, but we are left dangling with a cliffhanger because the concluding episodes like many other great otr shows are lost
