So this is a hopeful redemption arc for the previous shit show of a xianxia podcast (though this is still kind of potato quality). This time I have guest over zoom, we talk about what xianxia is, how we discovered xianxia, our favorite and most hated tropes in xianxia and what we are currently reading... We wander off a bit to use anime to explains some points , make baseless claims on the ideology of nations and give risky "political" opinions on the future/current world hegemons . Basically just nerding out while barely managing to stay on topic..

DON'T FREAK OUT ABOUT THE LENGTH IT'S JUST MUSIC......So I had no idea what to do today, so I decided to upload songs with 1-2 minute intros talking about what I was feeling when I heard them or a period when they were important to me..... I mention several times that these songs are are poor reflection of my playlist... No my chemical romance, eighties ballads or even anime openings.... 😫. A song is dear to me when I can formulate intense storylines in my head with it as theme music basically mvs for own original characters... But that's not the selection basis for these songs. These are are songs in my playlist that I can remember exactly where I was when it was most important and if I can remember how where I was impacted me as a person... Insignificant pieces to the giant jigsaw puzzle that is Dayo.

so I had nothing special to talk about but I did try something new I got the instrumental of the song i put at the end (black velvet) and used it as background music for the podcast, other music the vibe is general depression with a giant dash of whimsy... yay me as a person in podcast form....like always say it is a personal code of conduct so yeah....

I spent the entire thing talking about discworld, it's a book series I have been rereading (well in this case listening). I am hoping to reach the 41st book this time around, it's filled with satire, social commentary and just generally talking about the absurd as though it were completely logical maybe I will do character studies for the next few weeks.

So I was inspired when I explored my library ,I read the atomic habits book like I said would ( mostly used text to speech to listen while I lay down to play casual games ...but I Sha finished reading the book and I am here to report what I learned but I got lazy note taking so I decided to "react" to a bunch of reviews of the book ..... But reading the book made me gingered to develop a system to reach my true form as an artistic and athletic super consultant.

I just realised the flow I went with podcast  really meshes well with my song of the week... maybe I should attached more songs and make it like my regular thing... so much random knowledge and me laughing at the philosophy texts I have in my ebook reader .... join me to laugh at books i haven't touched, also when I say Hardy, I mean the hardy boys frank and joe?....

So it's another mediocre podcast but mic's waaaaaay better....I wanted to not feel inadequate when I am not number 1.... Psst the key is accepting that humanity as a while is special but individuals we really mirror each other

So I am still playing around with the new mic...fixed the mic boost issue but I made the volume playback too low....so no background music so I won't drown out the sound.... just undiluted dayo's voice.... Technical issues aside, I cover security in old age, the importance of marriage contracts, being an ambivert and a better friend.
