In this episode, we discuss Stoic philosophy, or Stoicism. Don't let the term "philosophy" discourage you; Stoicism is some of the greatest wisdom in history. Many of the world's peak performers, entrepreneurs, billionaires, and leaders use it daily. We discuss some of the core stoic concepts and their relevance to modern life, along with a number of resources that we hope will give you a glimpse into this fascinating way of approaching life.

Natalie has an intriguing story. She transformed from working 3 jobs and being tired, miserable and broke, to a successful entrepreneur, property developer, public speaker and confidence coach. We talk about how education and mentorship helped her develop, about her vision to use property as a vehicle to bring people together, and about the methods she used herself to grow her own confidence and transform. We also talk about her prolific social media presence, the importance of finding your calling, and how she works with individuals to help them grow their confidence.

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined." - Henry David Thoreau
In this episode I am interviewing Chris Branch, a successful osteopath who is passionate about personal development. We are discussing why it is important to live an intentional life, what is minimalism and its usefulness, and the benefits of practicing daily meditation.
We also explore the topic of habits. If you think about it, our life is the sum of our habits, and if we want to change our lives we need to take a careful look at our habits. Chris explains how to establish a new habit and how to make it stick.
Finally, Chris talks about the 12 month alcohol-free 'adventure' he undertook last year, the challenges in this voluntary hardship, and the realisations he's made through that journey.

"Personal development essentials" episode 22, and today we are discussing fear.
Some people say that "fear" stands for "False Evidence Appearing Real", a nice catchy acronym. Is that true? Are our fears true? Where do they come from and what is their purpose? Are they useful or do they hold us back, and in what ways? How can we overcome our fears?

"Personal development essentials", episode 21.
"How to win friends and influence people" is a classic book (1936) by Dale Carnegie. We use the principles described in the book as cues to discuss what influence is, why is it so important, and how we can utilise simple techniques in our interactions with others, to be more likeable, win them, and be able to influence them.

"Personal development essentials" podcast, episode 20! It feels marvellous having published 20 episodes already; honestly, it doesn't feel so long ago when we were planning the launch of the podcast!
In this episode, we decided to do something different. Agi and Paul take turns interviewing each other, so we can share a bit of our background with the listeners - and also with each other! We talk about what personal development means to us, and why we are so passionate about it. We also discuss our own personal "milestones" in our lives that changed our mindset and propelled our growth, and finally we share our "why": our reasons for doing this weekly podcast.
